Don't shoot the messenger but I read on B6G they were now prioritizing Broncos over Rangers. This was for production and for chips now that the hardtop issues have been resolved. :bandit:

I knew they were prioritizing production (at least my truck is built - mostly). I figured shared parts would also go to Bronco as well considering the potential sales they are hemorrhaging on cancelled Bronco orders.

Luckily yours is already built. I'm guessing the Rangers will still get chips but at a lesser rate to accommodate getting the Broncos out faster. I know they said they were going to be cutting production % of the Ranger too. There are still a lot of First Edition Broncos that need to be build before the end of the '21 production cycle which is early/mid December. Hopefully yours gets out soon!

I made a point of not looking at the order page for a few days hoping I'd get a surprise. The only change is for the first time I have an estimated ship date of 10/31 lol. Previously they hadn't even bothered to put a date on it. Pretty sure they won't be shipping on a Sunday.

You might get surprised one day with a call from your dealer it's there. The tracking has been messed up for months with the updates and I've read where many have said there's said "in production" and it was already at their dealers.

From an employee in MAP....Rangers are being produced 6-7 for every 1 Bronco. For weeks now. They are replacing tops on Broncos built and staged (and already delivered). Very little Bronco scheduling right now. It sounds like that may change come November-December builds....but for now...I hope they get my Tremor built soon. I did get a VIN, waiting on scheduling.

Don't forget about the 5000+ Broncos already built and sitting on dirt mountain. Some of those are awaiting the new hard tops but a lot of them are waiting for chips. Those will get prioritized before the Ranger. There's a lot of angry customers who's Broncos have been built since early June still sitting there.

Those percentages are right now but it's going to change very soon with the new tops being ready ahead of time. That's why I said the FE's will get built first because those need to get out this year. All the others will be pushed to '22 unless they're generic builds like Big Bend non SAS with minimal options. Hopefully yours and everyone else gets built soon because waiting is really tough.

Man, can I just say how much fun the Tremor is? Touched 60mph today on dirt and boy is it fun. The trail is pretty flat with some slight turns and some uneven portions. It just blows me away how smooth this truck can feel over the trail I was on. I don't think I could do over 25-30mph in my lifted Honda Pilot AWD over the same trail.

I just have it in 4H sport mode, no traction modes. Does great. It is in NV so a mix of soft and hard packed stuff.

Also curious, is our rear locker some level of a posi when not engaged? I was climbing some off camber stuff with the diff not locked and it just surprised me I did not need to lock the diff. Wheels didn't come off the ground I suppose which is why I got away with it but sure was articulation.

Phew! Just had my first scare with the new Tremor. Started having a really weird, somewhat intermittent noise coming from the right rear. It would start off quiet, then get louder and louder as the truck (and brakes) warmed up. The weird part was how the sound would change and what would trigger it.

The sound would start almost like a faint squeaking rubber, so I thought something was rubbing on the tire. Turning left or applying the brakes could cause the noise, but turning right or backing up didn't do anything. Then it would sometimes sound like marbles in a coffee can. Then it would start to sound like metal on metal grinding. After 5-10 minutes of driving, the sound was extremely loud any time I so much as touched the brakes.

I removed the dust cover for the right rear brake, and I noticed an odd kind of streak along the inside of the rotor. I thought it might be a rock in the brake pad, as I do drive on dirt roads fairly frequently. By the time I discovered it, though, the dealership was closed for the weekend, and the service department was booked out 2 weeks. It's a brand new truck, I wasn't about to wait 2 weeks.

Thankfully I talked to the service manager this morning who got me right in. They found the rock and sent me on my way without charging me (which I would hope they wouldn't have anyway, I bought the full service and warranty package and this is my second new truck purchased from them). I'm just glad the truck is quiet again, and I don't think the pebble did any long-term damage.

Ordered 5/19 (Customer Order), sat on at the plant from 8/24 until 10/19. Arrived at dealer 10/24. Had 28 miles on it at delivery at 5 PM when I rolled off the lot, everything looked great and felt great during my pre-signing shake down. I'm at 70 miles on it already just because it makes me smile to roll around the country roads in it. Worth the wait.

Congrats John! :champagne::party:

Great looking Ranger and even though it was a long dragged out wait you now see it was well worth it.
