Must be used with spray equipment (gravity feed spray gun) but helps paint be more flexible and thus last longer on pliable surfaces.
I thought about it. But too much color. Leaving the front all black. Only my side mirrors and door handles get some color.you need to tie it all in now with the FORD being blue
Thank you so much HDAIt looks fabulous.
Haha yes Mike. It is quite the weirdest foam material I’ve ever seen. I think you are on the right track with plasti dip or vinyl paint. I have a brand new engine cover sitting to perfect but haven’t gotten around to it. Bought “blaze blue” plasti dip too for it.Man you guys are Brave! Just got my engine cover, I had a assumed it was the type of foam with a hard shell. This thing is a sponge!
I doubt I will paint mine, but PlastiDip or Vinyl paint would be my choice. And test spray out on the under side!
I was looking for a metal Ford emblem to place over the one on the cover, but it will probably just fall off.
Thanks I missed that! Will go read thru againSomewhere on one of these pages, Rick mentioned how him and Phil have a little technique to keep the metal emblem to stay on the engine cover. Might be worth looking into if you want that look
