What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Pro tip: I would not prime these new flares if they are raw plastic (they appear to be). I would get some Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, 1 coat of it, and paint right over that. It's possible they are factory black primered already. Test by wet sanding a small section w/ 400-600 grit, if the water juice produced is black, they are primered, if it stays relatively clear, they are raw plastic.

The Tremor flares as sold by Ford Performance come painted Magnetic Grey.
I'm no pro, but even milkman can see that is paint, not raw or primered plastic.

Yep you are defiantly right milk man. My little phone screen and bad eyes made them look kinda shinny black which reminded me of raw plastic. Just prep and paint in that case. Still no primer needed though.

Just an FYI, I'm doing all of this with aerosol cans.

I'm using a primer-sealer, so I eliminate any chances of bleed through from the factory paint....I doubt that will be an issue since I'll only be scuffing the clearcoat, but better safe than sorry. And paint sticks better to primer than clearcoat. I did this the same way when I painted my grill. No issues after 2+ years.

REDtek boxes arrived today. Auto mirror module and window module. These look nice and solid. The harnesses are very nice. I have to maybe reconsider some of what I said and thought about t-taps after seeing these JOW connectors.

Got my Husky X-Act Contour front and rear floor mats, and installed them too. Per the name, yes, they are an exact fit.
My truck came with the optional Ford mats, and after seeing posts here, decided the Husky's would be better. I didn't like how the Ford ones stop at the carpet/door trim so all the sand/rocks fall off the mat and onto the carpet. The Husky's look like they'll hold stuff better, and if not, out the door it goes.

yes I got TWO different door sill protectors.
Reviews from the first where bad in that the pictures were misleading in the size and they were right. So I order the bottom ones that are plain black with antiskid with the possibility of overlaying the first on top of the second. Likely will not even try because of the antiskid but that is what I was expecting but worth the try.

I got the one with the Ranger Logo and when I received it I was very disappointed. Its not even worth looking at or thinking of ordering save your money.

I have the same mats. They are phenomenal. No creases and everything fits and lays perfectly. After I took mine out of the box, I laid the rear may out in the sun for about 30 minutes to get rid of the folds from being in the box
