This is for everyone’s information. I have a 2019 Ranger with about 22000 miles on it. The attached photo shows damage to the driver door rubber door gasket. This truck lives a pampered life: no off-roading and not a work truck. An easy fix but the dealer is claiming it’s not under warranty. We’ll see.

Ok you need to figure out what the heck is rubbing that when you get in and out.

That clearly shows a pattern.

Kind of like the seats on our patrol cars on the lower back side supports where our radios or other various holstered items eventually shred the cloth.

Not be rude, are you a big fella?

Looks like a about a two foot area where something is regularly wearing on that area. Unless you can prove it’s the door rubbing, which seems unlikely, that’s probably not a warranty fix.

So here are the high wear areas on patrol car it really doesn't matter if you're fat or skinny it's pretty much going to be the same. The first two pictures showed the door seal area same as on your truck and the other area is where the gun holster is and then our backs

Now I could be incorrect but if you look at my door seall markings and yours the wear is similar enough that if I was a betting man you've rubbed it that way somehow
