I got the Signature series, which is like a matt canvas looking material vs. the textured shiny vinyl look.
I even helped our installer put it on so I'd know how to do it if I ever decide to take it off... pretty light, which I like.

Great cover Val, had it for a year and still looks brand new. The straps 2 of them are to hold it in place when you have it folded.
Good luck with yours.

There are 2 straps that snap into the outside plastic clips for folding... but newer models now have 2 security straps underneath the tonneau at the front cross support. One clamps to each side rail right behind the front turn buckles.

Maybe they had a few customers that didn't correctly install securely and they flew off :giggle:
Sure hope not for owner and follower.

That would be a major bummer!

I've had mine on (and off) for almost 2 years now, and love it. It really does have a more durable, yet luxury, look to it. I'm starting to get some wear at the folds, but nothing tearing/degrading yet.

I do recommend some waterproofing. Mine wouldn't bead anything when I first got it, so I've applied some spray on waterproofer that I also use on our hiking gear. Lasts about 4 months, then I reapply.

You have the Signature series too? I asked Extang what they recommended for UV protection and they said "Raggtopp Fabric Protection". I didn't think to ask if water proofing would be needed but I wonder if the fabric protection helps to keep the fabric from degrading from the elements, if that would be enough.

I wouldn't doubt that could happen. I looked at the 2020 Silverado install instructions and of course for my 2021 Ranger that came in the box, and neither gave really good clear instructions. The 2021 Silverado is definitely not a 5 or 10 minute install. The Ranger was a little lacking in that you couldn't tell from the instruction diagram which holes they wanted you to fill with that black putty they give you.

Those are great covers for anyone who needs a more affordable or temporary cover, easy on off. Ive sold and installed tons of them.

I'm a smaller lady (and no spring chicken) so I wanted something light I could handle putting off and on myself. I really didn't need the added security of a hard folding tonneau. I wasn't really concerned about getting a tonneau with the lowest profile out there (I think I the Trifecta 2.0 is 1-1/2"). Of course price is always a consideration, but it wasn't a the deciding factor for me since I get everything at our business cost since we're a reseller.... I just like the look of the Signature series fabric's look.

The Trifecta 2.0 is our best selling soft folding tonneau. I can't remember a customer ever having come back with a complaint about one. We do the installation, so that may have something to do with it... that it's put on right.

I'm afraid that now that they know I know how to put one on, they'll have me back in the shop helping!

I was originally going for a Diamonback cover but after taking so more measurement of my ATV, I decided to use my trailer to haul it and go with a backrack and regular tonneau cover combo.

I was just about to purchase the trifecta 2.0 when I noticed Extang came out with the ALX model which looks really similar but has one big difference. The rear portion lacthes into place for a one handed operation and also much less prone to moving when going over washboard road since the cover is latched instead of the traditional spring loaded handles.

Unfortunately, they told me Q3 or Q4 for the release for the Ranger so if you need something right now, it's not available for purchase yet.

Yep, Signature series here. They also recommended Raggtopp to me, which I have used before and had on hand thanks to my OCD in detailing and my Mom's Convertible Beetle. It honestly was a decent product on the VW, but I applied religiously with her car's every two week wash down. I was not impressed with the performance on this tonneau fabric, however. 303 Fabric Guard was my first application, but I ran out. I use that on SO many things, should get more. It worked very well, but took a long time to cure up. I use ForceField Waterproofing spray instead now, same thing I use on lots of my outdoor gear (even though it says for sneakers lol).

I have the 303 Fabric Cleaner and also their Fabric Guard. I look for the ForceField, thanks!

Rained yesterday, not a downpour but steady. Checked truck bed, no water. Today we're supposed to get 1.25" - 1.5" of rain... will see how tonneau does with that.

Hoping to resurrect this thread as I was looking for specific cleaning and protecting of my Trifecta 2.0 Signature. It is an awesome cover and looks great. How are people cleaning their's. As mentioned before, Extang recommends Raggtopp cleaner and protectant. Can you get by with just the protectant, can you spray off at the carwash?
