I sort of wish DPMS still manufactured the LR-308.
Sure it was a DPMS, but it was a solid affordable 308 with a 24" bull barrel.
I know 6.5 is slowly pushing 308 to the wayside, but for nostalgia sake I'd love to own one again. I am assuming any left floating around now a days are jacked in price right now.
Circa about 12 years ago in an exercise in muscle capability. Thing was a porker for sure. You'd get about one accurate shot standing/unsupported then you might as well be trying to steady a bucket of water with your arms stretched out lol
