Gregg, I fixed your pic for you, in case the Ranger ever gets a 10-spd manual trans!

:crackup: Thanks. 10 is just too dang many to keep up with. My first car had a two speed "power glide" automatic.:) I replaced it with a three speed manual. Couldn't afford a four speed. First name basis with local junk yard guy. At 16 I became a self taught shade tree mechanic. well technicaly my parents carport.
With manual transmissions and internal combustion engines on the endangered species list I still like that manual for my fun car. ( 480 HP helps with that too).

Old school, no apologies

These are the smoked chrome/black emblems from Ford. Now I need to find another project to spend my money

Nice job, looks great. Any chance you can post a photo of the box label or parts #? Some of us have been looking for the black bezel with no luck.

Ceramic coated my new wheels. Have a lot going on with work and family, so took my time doing one wheel per day. The Adams wheel coating is an awesome product to work with, a bit tedious but easy to use. The coating also glows when you shine a black light on it which really helped to ensure all parts of the wheel were covered and even. Although, this process peaked my OCD making sure every nook and cranny were covered. The coating also makes the black gloss stand out even more. Anyway, glad to be done and have the added layer of protection. Also decided to add MGP caliper covers when I mount the new wheels/tires...which of course also had to be ceramic coated haha.

EDIT: If you decide to coat your wheels, don't forget to do the barrels!

Hope this helps anyone looking to swap out their emblems. It did take a week to get these once I placed the order.

Did it have power steering? Many cars back in the day didn't. It took some real effort to turn that wheel and deal with the clutch and that coulomb shifter at the same time.:muscle::)

Learned to drive in my dad's 60 Chevy Biscayne. 3 speed on the column, standard non power brakes, but it did have pwr steering. 3 on the column, clutching no different than a stick on the floor, and a manual steering wasn't to bad when moving, but a pain at a stop or very slow speed.
Back then in them olden days, base cars either came with a 3 on the column or a 2 speed auto and no power steering. If you wanted pwr steering you would go aftermarket and add this....
