Has anybody else noticed this? Stomp on the pedal, and it sounds like the turbo is sitting in the back seat. I was a little surprised by this. It's coming up through the floor or something. Lariat crew cab.

I definitely get the piped-in sound, it's more of a low-mid rumble through the speakers. My RS does the same thing. But this 2nd sound is like a rear window cracks open under throttle. Sounds like a boost leak, but from the rear floor.

Just a thought for you. There is two flapper vents between the cab and bed where fresh air coming in escapes the cab exiting. Now with that being said, perhaps one or more is stuck open or a production fault.
On your first service, have a tech do a ride along in the back and definitely compare with a similar truck. On a humorous note: it could be the g-force of that torquey little 4 banger slamming the vents open on WOT.

Jack it up and look for the metal to metal contact.

That's a good point. I need to stop by the dealer next week (driver's heated seat isn't working, and paint contamination.) In the meantime, I'll fold the rear seat up/down and see if I hear anything obvious.

Where can you look to see if one of the flaps are stuck open. I have the same wind sound everyone is talking about.

I was trying to find that production photo at the plant when they showed just the cabs going down the line. It was at the start around mid Dec. That'll show exact location.
I couldn't see any way of checking unless the back seats was taken out and interior trim removed. Forget that.

I have the same noise problem. I have a Lariat SuperCrew. Took it on a 100 mile trip on I75 yesterday and the wind noise seemed to be coming from the rear passenger side seat area. It was loud at 75 MPH. VERY LOUD. I have not had the time to take it to the dealer but from all the post it appears to be a Ford issue. Has anyone talked with their dealer?

I know this is old, but I noticed this as well. Literally as soon as I go WOT, it sounds like rushing air in the back.
