That is very awesome to hear, overall how has your experience been with allstate regarding most things? First time switching to any other insurance company.
Never had an issue. Take a few pictures in the app and that's about it.

Brandon, I hear you. Parking lot dings are frustrations that irritate owners who like to keep the cosmetics nice and the repair bills down. A lady in a big Lincoln with heavy doors slammed her door open and messed up a nice sports car  I owned as a young guy. Another time, an out of control shopping cart on a steep lot nailed my driver's side of another vehicle. I look for outward areas of a lot that is not too isolated where vandals can work and then park at an angle to try and fend them off :)

Hit the nail on the head with that sentiment on the type of owner we are. I guess these things happen and we learn to live with it. However, this is my first real I guess true nice vehicle and I have been babying it. Good lesson on not crying over spilt milk but a few hours of blood boiling was warranted. I will be parking far in not so isolated places as well now.

It’s quite unfortunate. Okay, that doesn’t sound too bad. I think I just need to accept things like this happen, just had to be with the Ranger I have been babying. Pinstripes and rock chips, that’s fine. But purposeful dents by others… ya not fun. Thank you for an average of what you think it will cost Duke, going to look into it.

haha do you think the flare would cover it? Looking at images, I don't think it will go that high unfortunately but that was a good consideration :p

The guy who fixed my small dents told me that a big dent like the ones below could be upwards of $1,000...

My two small dents costed me $100 not counting paint...

Yikes, I wonder how much the paint repair would be... it doesnt look like any paint was scratched off except a very small spot on the actual fender flares. The dent on the fender was paintless dent. Thank you for the suggestion, I will consider those flares, was it easy to install? Imagine someone with no experience but can read instructions as I know you are very very experienced hah.

The flares are mildly difficult to install as they're attached by their patented "no drill" bonded stud system...check out their website for videos on the install...I did the four fenders in roughly 6 hours... taking my time...

But, after install, you can now space out your stance as they add almost two inches per side... ?

Absolutely, I make no apologies about keeping the Truck intact. Two benefits: Some extra exercise and better trade in value!:dance:

I was walking to my truck a few weeks ago and saw the woman fling her door open into my truck. I heard it from 3 cars away with hearing aids ? She got my side step good. I saw the dent in her door edge when she pulled out. I knew at that moment she took the damage and not me. The look I gave her would have peeled paint. Karma baby!

Hope your fix comes at a reasonable cost or better the nicer flares.
Wow! That side step really covered you good. I was interested in some company along the lines of Rocky or something, wasn't too serious about the purchase but am definitely considering those now. Karma feels good for those careless idiots! :)

Appreciate the comment and slight nudge to buy flares heh.

That's exactly what I told my gf, "we are going to have to park and walk more, free exercise :)" she just glares in a jokingly manner as she understood my frustration with this dent.

With the air design, only a monster truck. But regarding to this dent, it was a white SUV mercedes, older model.

Recently, I had just got back into my truck at a grocery store when I heard a loud extended scraping crunching sound and when I looked up, a woman had just pulled into the delivery area fenced by bright yellow guard poles...she managed to pulled into the corral and totally destroyed her new mini van's rear door all the way to the rear bumper...she seemed totally unaware of what just happened and waited for her groceries... ?

Wow, crazy story. Some people really are oblivious on looking at the road properly and feel they are superman in their vehicles.

Get an insurance quote for the dent repair and then consider putting the cash towards the flares... ?

My wife and I always park away from the crowd, but close enough to not make it look like we are. I can walk. I absolutely hate the arsehole who take up 2 spots. Makes me want to f-up their car just on principle, but I don't.
