Installed the ESI tailgate seal kit. Install was straight forward, though it does look a bit funky because of all the small individual pieces everywhere needed to fill in the gaps. I definitely needed some way of closing off the bed better, and I think this will do the trick.

Ordered this based on previous recommendations here and on Amazon:

KEYO1E 4.9'' Short Antenna Compatible with 13 to 2019 Escape

Boy the reception is really bad on this truck compared to my previous GM vehicles (even with the stubby roof antennas). Hopefully this antenna is better. I don't expect it to be as good as an old "whip", but it should be at least as good as the GM stubby I would expect. Only thing I'm disappointed in so far.

Installed 3M clear paint protection on the right door sills. And also put Lamin-X smoke film on the side markers to tone them down a bit.
Sunday/Monday will be finishing the door sills, and Lamin-X on headlights, and their "clear bug deflector" -- a simple piece of clear bra the hood leading edge.

I installed the same one, and I'm not convinced. I started this thread looking for a better solution. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/australian-members-do-you-have-ideas-for-gate-seals.13594/

Yeah, it does feel like a second-thought solution. I wish there was something tailored specifically for this tailgate, but I needed something; so I settled. I would happily exchange this setup for something more factory looking if/when it becomes available. I'll keep an eye out on that thread. Thanks.

Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, you could do something as simple as to put a strip of velcro on the bed and tailgate and then cover with something like this.

Not today, but yesterday. Gave her a bath and installed the AVS window deflectors.

I've heard of bug deflectors, but never window deflectors.

Doesn't matter, I need one too. How much and where do I get some?
