I have been looking at all the discussions around the engine hesitation or lag but everything I am reading is only when the engine is cold. I have intermittent hesitation whether the vehicle is warm or cold. Usually only happens when accelerating from a stop into a corner but a few weeks ago I pulled out to pass someone in sport mode of course :) and stepped on the gas, whole truck slowed down for a few seconds before it decided to was ready to go. I am just over 30k miles and will be taking in prior to warranty running out but was curious if anyone else had the issue and of the TSB's which would be the one to ask for? 2052, 2246, etc. I don't think they will find anything as it is very sporadic. Also, no warning lights have come on.
Thanks

Just curious, has the air filter ever been replaced? Mine was terrible at 10k miles.

Air filter looked good. It is very intermittent, most often occurs while accelerating from a top in a turn.

Somethings not right. I would take a dealer tech a ride, and show him/her what it's doing. If the tech takes it out they will come back, and they couldn't find anything wrong.

Sounds like turbo lag. This is normal. Because its intermittent it may be caused by outside air temp/pressure.

I would second this, is it warmer out? There has been heat wave in many parts. In addition, do you have a tune? How hard did you slam the gas to go in front of someone? If you slam it all the way down to the metal as hard as you can instantly, it will have a slight lag. it's sometimes better to ease in 50% then harder from there forth to reduce turbo lag, unless you are trying to hit insane 0-60 times or 1/4 miles. Any air flow mods like exhaust and intake as well?

I would also add that if you are hauling around the RTT when this occurs, it adds more weight that the truck has to overcome, and acts as drag on the acceleration.

It was warmer out and I did jump on it to get around the other vehicle. Didnt consider turbo lag, maybe, felt like the vehicle lost power though so not sure if turbo lag would have that affect.

As far as the RTT, I did have it on, but that is not a problem for the truck. Never caused the issue before with it on there.

Thanks for all the thoughts on this

Do you have a tune? My situation is similar to yours but mine stems from the traction control kicking in because I have a tune. The TC will pull power in the situations you mentioned, more so if you're tuned.

Thinking this may be it after paying attention to my throttle control this past week. Feels similar to if I start to accelerate, get off the gas and then back on. Sometimes all is good others it takes a second to take off.
