I've had no significant issues w/ Fordpass.
I think most people's problems stem from a lack of service either to the truck or device.
Glad to see this hiccup seems to be clear.

Mine has been pretty good too but I don't use it all that much either. I was just commenting on Fords tech in general needs serious improvement like with Sync 3. Hopefully Sync 4 is better.

I started with Sync, no number, back in 2009, Sync 3 is pretty much exactly the same in my eyes.
I don't have much confidence in Sync 4 being a major improvement.
If anything the wireless Carplay/AA should be nice.

I seriously doubt that they will improve sync 4. You can update over the air but if there software isn't written correctly it won't be no better than sync 3 and previous versions.
I just leave it as is. It fits all my needs and if not just hook up to my phone and use CarPlay

Greg, that's why I have never updated mine, it's still the original version from when I bought in 2019. I just use my phone for navigation as there's so much new building going on here. I've seen some videos/tutorials of Sync4 and it UI looks better but who knows how it's going to operate?

I gave up on the Ford Pass app months ago if not longer. The app froze too many times.

My biggest issue with FordPass was that for probably 3-4 weeks none of the remote buttons showed up. I logged out/logged in several times and it only ended up resolving itself after I completely removed my vehicle and re-entered (with the VIN) twice

Sad fact with that is we can’t upgrade to Sync 4 from our sync 3 heads. ?

No kidding! What's even sadder is the base Bronco ($30K) comes with Sync4 yet the Ranger Lariat ($45K) still has Sync3. ?

Ya, out of curiosity I went and checked it out. It’s only available in F150, Mustang E and Bronco. Probably Maverick too.
Should have a path to upgrade the system.

I had issues the other day on my iPhone and iPad Pro but worked fine on my iPad mini 4. I kept getting the message that Fordpass needed to be updated. I had already did the updates. I manually closed/shut down the app on the iPhone and iPad Pro. then it started working agin and I haven't had any more problems

Well mine was not working on monday afternoon. All afternoon and part of Tuesday. Today though, working just fine. I use it alot too. Really happy with the app
