No offense to you but…. That is an inferior product. We have throughly tested and recommend then DeeZee SKU: DZ43206 tailgate assist. Heck, Ford even uss it with their own label slapped on it so you know it’s good!

Now it isn’t as cheaply priced as the one you found but if you look around you can find one for less than MSRP.

Try it you’ll like it

Don't do it. Not sure it's the same one but someone else here posted about a knockoff damper that failed. Get the DeeZee one for 30 some bucks

No offense taken, I just didn't see any post on here about that particular one. I typically avoid chinesium but the photos actually showed it mounted on a ranger, and not some generic picture so I thought it might be worth a try. However I'll probably go with the deezee.
