Ranger CD Tech Manual Requires IE-11. Uh-Oh(?)

Microsoft is abandoning Internet Explorer in favor of their Edge browser.
I use Firefox, but keep IE because the Ranger's CD manual requires it to run.
My CD is not with me right now, so I haven't tried to run it with Edge. ...in fact I have Edge hidden.

..anyone know if the CD will work on Edge? I know it doesn't like Firefox.

I have been using a browser called Brave, which has so far worked with that and every site except Xfinity so far. Been using it for several months now. Has great security settings and blocks quite a few shenanigans you never knew commercial sites are pulling in regards to your info and habits. Check it out

can you emulate IE in Chrome or EDGE? or you can fire up the old 486 with Windows 3.1 lol ?

486-based PC or above
8 MB or memory or better
40 MB of free disk space
CD ROM drive (minimum 2x speed)
VGA monitor 1024 x 768 capable is recommended

Side question. This CD, it's it just the files? What is special about it that you need the CD? I'm just curious if it could be dumped to pdf? I know you may loose some indexing capability, but you can still search pdf files.
