Will do Trevor. I've been contemplating getting one for a while then saw this thread here, @Gunza had done a lot of research and bought this one. I watched a ton of videos and this one always seemed to be one of the best for clarity.

Hey you got yours finally! hope you like it as much as I do mine. your install will be simpler, but to make your life better, look up how to remove the a-pillar trim piece, makes routing cables a breeze down to the odb/fuse area.

The way i look at it, its a security system for my car, especially the thinkware u1000. It's got a great parking mode especially with the addtional radar module, and the quality of it is killer. It is pricy, but I live by the buy once, cry once, motto, and this one was best of the bunch i looked at.

I ordered it shortly after you did and It came off backorder last Friday. It worked out great as we were away up until Thursday. BlackboxMyCar was great to deal with and answer all my questions and they ship out really quick too.

I was hoping to just pry the A-Pillar open a little and sneak the wire behind it enough to run it down, or will that not work? I know the airbag is back there so I don't want to mess with it to much.

It's not terribly difficult to just take off and it's way easier to see where to route the cables so they're not in the way of the airbag system with it off than just trying to slip them in. the tethers that hold post air bag deployment can be a little bit of a pain to get out, so if you can fit your hand where you need it to go without taking those off, you'll be a good to go. I took it all the way off and i think i fought with those things longer than any other part of it, getting it off and putting it back on.

https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/removing-a-pillar-trim.11882/ has the how-to of it.

Well I ordered these, but got a paper day planner instead (by Amazons mistake)
Should receive the correct item Friday.
And NO I did not order the leg or high heel shoes. Just the sill protector.

So I received more items for my truck, even though they may not seem like truck items. I won the grand prize of a sweepstakes and so far I've received a Dometic fridge/freezer, Coleman 4 person tent, and then last night I got this...

It might not seem like a Ford Ranger accessory, but combined with the Jackery 1500 watt battery pack/solar charger that was a part of the prize package, I will have some awesome eats out on the trail when I overnight!!!! I am trying to sell the Coleman tent so I can put an awning on my truck. I've been using the Dometic fridge at work for hot range training days, and it will soon see service on my boat holding beverages. :D
