I’ll take the Softopper off your hands, I can either pick it up Sunday Jan 2nd or the weekend of the 8th-9th, whichever works better for you. How would you prefer payment? I’ve got all the major methods of transferring money, and can get cash if you prefer that as well.
Question about the...
Hey Dave, random question:
I bought some of the Graphene Nano Spray Coating, did my ma’s car with it today using some chemical guys microfiber applicators, worked perfect and her car has never looked better!
But I got one question - what’s the process for cleaning the applicator? Do i just...
My truck sits in an open parking lot with no shade for 8-10 hrs/day, in full sun and it's been 90+ a fair bit since I did my install and i've had no issues with the tape as of yet on either the front or rear camera.
It's not terribly difficult to just take off and it's way easier to see where to route the cables so they're not in the way of the airbag system with it off than just trying to slip them in. the tethers that hold post air bag deployment can be a little bit of a pain to get out, so if you can...
The way i look at it, its a security system for my car, especially the thinkware u1000. It's got a great parking mode especially with the addtional radar module, and the quality of it is killer. It is pricy, but I live by the buy once, cry once, motto, and this one was best of the bunch i looked at.
Hey you got yours finally! hope you like it as much as I do mine. your install will be simpler, but to make your life better, look up how to remove the a-pillar trim piece, makes routing cables a breeze down to the odb/fuse area.
Sittin at 37 at the moment, thinkin about going to 35. came 44 from dealer, immediately aired down to 39, but still felt too bouncy, 37's nice, but I still get jarred goin over stuff like bridge joints and minor potholes (i-95 sucks) to the point that my dash cam thinks i've been in an incident
Dude, you're buying a brand new truck. if it doesn't have the options on it you want, find one that does or make them buy the one that does. Don't just take it because they already jumped the gun and ordered the wrong packages.
Glad to help someone besides me spend money!
The radar and battery make sense for me because the joys of apartment living, but in your situation i can see where they wouldn't get much usage. I'm getting mine sometime this week supposedly, probably will fiddle with it this weekend if the weather...
Haven't quite figured out where I'm gonna mount my battery, maybe under passenger seat, maybe under the 2nd row seats in those little cubbies. Figure I'd snake the back cam cable through the headliner if there's room and it's not too much of a pain in the ass, or maybe along the same route the...
So the VIOFO camera has a heat warning against it on the dashcams subreddit. Apparently it gets *really* hot to get that 4k quality and could effect longterm durability as well as safety, which factored into my choice.
I went with the "buy once, cry once" idiom, got what several sites regarded...
I got mine from blackBoxMyCar, they’re running the same sale and had it in stock with the battery. If you’re looking for just the camera, BHPhoto also has them in stock. Didn’t even think to look at bestbuy to be honest.
I picked up a Thinkware U1000 2ch with the radar module and a Thinkware iVolt battery. After reading a ton of reviews and watching way too many YouTube comparisons, the features it has are worth the extra money to me and the battery backup made sense to protect the Ranger battery, which has been...
