I'm thrilled with how this turned out!!!! This was a retired 870 I bought from the store we traded it in to. Some cleaning up and it's beautiful!
I'm still trying to get our department to finally get with the times and ditch our Glock 22's and move to Glock 45's or Glock 17 MOS. If that happens I hope to purchase my 22 get it engraved and squirrel it away as a heirloom.

I am on the edge of convincing the chief to start an RDS T&E pilot program so maybe these old fud's running things can see the power of running a red dot on pistols in the modern age.

I still encounter the "what if your optic breaks" and my response is the same every time, "you keep shooting. No one asks this dumbass question with rifle optics."

RDS is awesome (if you have the fundamentals down - we have a bunch of folks that think that RDS is going to fix all of their shooting problems). Target transitions are soooooo quick! I'm rocking a GLOCK 34MOS as my assigned duty gun. I bought my old GLOCK 22 after it was retired some years back and I was issued a 35. I had no interest in that 35 when I was transitioned over to the 34MOS.

Did you use the included mounting hardware or use something else ?
I used the included hardware but I know others used something different. I've had it for about 18 months now and use it all the time and have had no issues with it loosening. It worked so good I now wish I had got the 2 pk so I could've used the other one in the house under my center island for one of my micro pistols.

I want to order or pick up a Sig P320 or the 320-m17 bravo. I honestly can’t decide. I feel like a woman picking out shoes. From what I gather, they are essentially the same. But the M17 is just a tad later of a design, and I was trying to find out info if the internals were changed at all.

I like the full size rail on the bottom of the P320, on the other hand, I actually do like the thumb safety on the M17. I mean I could get both, but the M17 with the thumb safety is appealing. I would feel more comfortable keeping one in the chamber in the house.

Trying to find a Glock 17 MOS blue label in stock local I might as well be searching for a unicorn. Our local blue label dealer has zero stock on anything.

I'm about to be going through a level 1-4 + optics transition class to start laying the ground work for our department to construct policy on how and by what metrics to allow officers to carry these. The first class begins next month and the rest through end of the year. Been a long road of argument to get them to at least open the door to the possibility.

Ugh. I guess I can order from another dealer and have it shipped in, but some people like GT Distributors are slow as dirt. Directly from Glock can take up to 180 days.

I'm probably going to go with a Leupold Deltapoint Pro. I have already been using the new Aliengear Rapid Force duty holster for 6 months and the Chief seems to really like it.

You might keep an eye on these guys https://adelbridge.com/ in San Antonio. They seem to have, or be able to get inventory you cannot find anywhere else. They are high priced for popular items that are in stock though.

This and the Walther PPQ are the best looking guns on the market IMO.

What about mags for p365? Can you get higher capacity OEM ?
I have a couple of 15rd mags. Others are pretty much close-to the same price as SIG

If you really want to have some fun, check these out (I would never!)
