None will compete with a higher end AR for accuracy or trigger, but they sure are fun!
Well thats the problem, my MK12 Mod0 SPR clone was using an 18" PSA barrel and with 69gr to 77gr match ammo it could get 1 MOA all day from an average joe with any solid basic rifle shooting skills. Hell I just had a placeholder low tier Vortex CrossFire II on it till I decided on better glass.

My current patrol rifle is a 10.5" (again with a PSA barrel) and has about the same combat effective MOA as the Tavor and it cost less including the can and optics for it.

So maybe I should clarify what I meant; the TAVOR is not worth the $1700 asking price.

Nearly Half of All U.S. Counties Are Now Second Amendment Sanctuaries

I'm happy to see this happening across the country but I was kind of surprised to see states like MT & SD not having done this yet. Then you states like WA, OR and even NM have declared most counties sanctuary 2A.

As it stands now, more than 46% of all counties in the United States have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries, according to Noah Davis of sanctuarycounties.com and its companion site constitutionalsanctuaries.com.

Davis has been tracking the movement since its inception – tallying the growing numbers every single day.

“There are 1,459 Second Amendment Sanctuary counties, out of a total of 3,144 counties, but I’m still tallying them right now,” Davis told me Wednesday. “I’ve got a bit of a backlog. I’m working on updating my national map, but they’re happening so fast, and I’m just one person in Virginia.”
The 1,459 includes counties located in the 10 states that have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries, he explained.

I'll have to read it when I get home since the sites are blocked at work. It's surprising to know most of the counties here in WA are sanctuary. I could see it on the east side of the state which tends to lean more red. But then you have King county on the west side (and by far the largest county, population wise) that passes laws that are very anti-gun - ammo and firearm tax drove some smaller business out of Seattle a few years back. There have been other laws passed here that are most definitely anti-gun...again, thank you Seattle/King County! :curse::angry:

Take a look at the N'East and not one spec of green anywhere in site! So glad I left MA when I did and it's sad that NH is that way too now from all the Massholes moving there. :headbang:

I'm not sure I can wait until we retire to move someplace less blue. Of course, if the feds have their way, it won't matter anyway. Here's how long it's been since I purchased a firearm (2014?) - tried to go pick up the Glock 26 I ordered only to find out I have wait 10 days for the background check...I said, "Even with a CPL?" Yep, even with a CPL. Well hell. Had to come home and figure out what I missed out on since the last time I bought. Sure enough, it's been this way since 2019. Go figure.

That's one good thing here is with a CCW you can forgo the background check when picking up your firearm. Since you were already checked throughly when applying for your license no need to do it again. You do not need a license I just got mine so I could carry when traveling to reciprocal states. I'm sure soon or later this will change as our parking lots and streets are littered with CA plates!

That's how it used to be here. If you had a CPL, no need to for ANOTHER background check; purchase the firearm and go home with it same day.

I'm in need of reasonable entry-level cases for my M&P 15 and my wife's M&P 15-22.
I don't know where to start. Do I need hard shell, soft...?
No intention of having to ship them anywhere so they don't need to be airline approved or anything. I just need something to put them in if we go to the range or out in the desert to shoot.
If I understand correctly, I probably don't need anything longer than 36", do I? And I do have small red-dot optics on them both.

Thanks for any guidance you can give.

Chris if you're just using it to travel back and forth from the range there's no need for a hard case. I have a couple of these below and they're great. Very durable and they hold A LOT of gear.

Because I am lazy and don't want to use the search function or go back through all 108 pages, what are you guys and gals using for mounts in your vehicles ? Looking for magnetic mounts...

I've been using this one here and it's worked out great. My gun never moves a bit even when off roading.
