I totally understand I'm 5'7 and 150lbs soaking wet. lol I can conceal mine really well but I'm using a OWB Alien Gear Cloak Belt holster and a Kore Essentials belt. That is the best set up I've found after trying so many others. The belt is super still and there's no sag whatsoever.

Glocks were never comfortable for me no matter which ones I tried. My main carry is a Shield but I put Truglo TFX tritium/fiber optic sites on it. I haven't had enough practice time with the Sig to carry it full time yet but so far I love it.
I'm in good company then. I wear the Kore Essentials leather belt every day. Nice enough to to wear at the office! I have 5 holsters for my 43X and just couldn't get it to work/look/feel the way I wanted. I did try a few OWB. It's a great gun otherwise especially with the shield arms 15 round steel mags. And same, I'm going to the range after work Thurs to shoot the P365 for the first time. Damn those magazines are tight in there! My number 1 priority with a CCW is that it goes bang every time I pull the trigger so we'll see how it does.

Picked up an 870 in 20ga just to see what it could do.
So I tried 5 shots at the target from 15ft to check pattern.
Trying to stay at home defense distances.
I think that it is a keeper.

@OFC Ranger - I'm tagging you in this because you might enjoy the added comfort on the range down here in the GA heat...

We've been through several different brands of ear-pro at work in my division, being we spend a lot of time on the range training the folks at my agency. We found we had issues with the Howard Leight Impact ear-pro (the ear cups get hard and disintegrate after a lot of sweat contact and have to be replaced, but they remain uncomfortable), so we went to the really nice, more comfortable, higher end 3M/Peltor Tactical 500 head sets with built-in BlueTooth. These were VERY comfortable, but a key part in the head bands broke on all of our sets just from regular usage, and they became useless.

We ended up with Walker Razor Patriot Series ear-pro, and they seem to be working out pretty well for us. I did have an issue with mine and they were sent back for a warranty replacement, but there was a snafu with the company. They processed receiving my malfunctioning set, but never sent out my replacements. After some time, I contacted them, they realized the issue, and sent me an upgraded replacement - Walker Razor Digitals.

After a bunch of use, I've found the ear cups are going hard again from sweat contact, and I found a way to upgrade the headset to make it more comfortable and actually work better!!!! The thing is, it's EXPENSIVE!!!!

Start:
GWP-DRSEM-1.webp

I added gel ear cups from Amazon for $16.79 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KZCJ112/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Now the next part wasn't cheap. But if you poke around the website there is an email address to request a discount code for 1st responders, military, veterans, etc. Noise Fighters sells an ear cup cover that is sweat wicking and anti-microbial for $75 - https://noisefighters.com/products/heatsync

And then from a company called Qore Performance, I snagged an IceVents headband attachment to allow more airflow around the top of the head and cushioning for $30. https://www.qoreperformance.com/products/icevents-headband-pad-1-pack?_pos=1&_psq=head&_ss=e&_v=1.0

It's expensive and adds up!!!! But I can tell you that it was VERY worth it!!!! The headset is extrememly, much more comfortable. Not only that, they block more noise and seal better. To me, it's actually worth the relatively huge expenditure to modify the headset because of how much I have to wear them. The only other thing I ordered for them, today, is a velcro name tape so my coworkers don't steal them! HAHAHAHA After trying them for themselves a couple of the guys are replicating my setup. Soooooooooooo comfortable that I want to set up my XBoz headset the same way!

I found a free method for range day in swamp-ass GA heat.

Only go in the fall and winter.

Edit: Also... our uniform is all black. Our only point of relief is we do wear overt carriers we can pop off when we eat or are in the office.

We went over to all black uniforms and the only relief is an air conditioned patrol car. In training we wear black carriers. Fun in August!

Got a pistol version of this inbound. New Galil Ace Gen2.....just gotta swap in an ALG trigger, adjustable gas piston, and add the silencer mount.

I really wanted to like my TAVOR. I even got another Meprolight 21 to go with it and complete the package.

I mean it has my lineage built into it, but...

2-3 MOA with match ammo at as little as 100 yards was just not acceptable. I took it through rifle class at GPSTC (law enforcement training center) and halfway through I ditched it and completed the course with the CZ Scorpion. Mind you part of the course is at longer distance and the 9mm did better even with hold over.

Sold off the TAVOR for a slight loss. Besides accuracy issues I do believe it to be a far superior rifle for urban environments without having to get into SBR territory. The balance was a dream, but alas was not meant to be. When my PSA built patrol rifle can get 1 MOA or less with match ammo there is a problem.

It would be interesting to see when the production was on it. I have an IDF marked Tavor and accuracy is around 1.25-1.5 moa with any decent ammo, closer to 2 moa with bulk 55/62gr stuff ("floor sweepings" as they call it at Lake City here). I also have a KelTec RBD with aluminum handgaurd and it's a sporty comparison between them, with the Tavor feeling much more solid in general. A geiselle trigger in the Tavor should clean it up a lot whenever they get back in stock.

My Galil 5.56, I was able to get down to 1-1.25 moa, but it took some trickery to get there, bridging the top cover with a spare micro dot mount. I don't expect the gen 2 x39 to be that accurate, because frankly the Golden Tiger ammo I have isn't consistent enough to begin with. It will still get an ALG trigger anyways.

None will compete with a higher end AR for accuracy or trigger, but they sure are fun!
