I assume you were not impressed with the AFE CAI, so you installed the Mishi CAI.
Sounds like you’re not overly impressed with that one either.
I have not decided on which brand to buy so I’m interested in your feedback.
Brian
I am more impressed with the Mishi. The aFe was fine just not for my style. Side note anyone want to buy the aFe? Still like new, had it in for maybe 1500-1700km.
They both have pros and cons, the aFe gave me power for sure, and if you put the foot down it sounds good and the truck goes great, again just not my style. The mishimoto goes too when it’s asked, just it maybe takes a second or two longer to really gulp in the air. I do like the Mishimoto, the installation was more of a pain then the Quantum just based on design. I also got the ram air intake for the quantum and it didn’t click into the air box (the stock on was pretty much the same too) and it had maybe a mm or 2 around the intake open, so I wonder if that was part of the issue, but I am doubtful.

agin anyone interest in the quantum shoot me a line

I purchased my new 2020 Ranger XLT FX2 a week ago. Love all the forum talk on Ranger stuff. My first accessory were Husky Liner mud guards installed today.

I just purchased the 2020 Ranger XLT not long ago....you got the package I wanted becaus I could not afford the 4x4...but no one in my area had the FX2 package and I was in a bind and time crunch because my older truck decided to retire itself....lol and I needed a truck that day...so I got the Ranger XLT 4x2...I can install the locking rear diff by ABS though so I can do that later. I got the same white as you do....great looking truck. I just got Kicker Key 200.4 AMP and Focal IC Ford 165 speakers installed...the Focals sound amazing and the kicker is doing a great job powering them....focal powered sub will be next!

Hi all! I'm Chris and I live in central Indiana. I come from a family full of trucks (including a couple of old-school Rangers), but I've never had a reason to own one. That's likely going to change soon, though, and I've zeroed in on the new Ranger. I've learned a lot about these trucks from this forum, and I'll likely be posting some questions soon. Thanks for all the great info I've come across so far!

Hey All. My name is Nick from Perth, Western Australia.
I love reading through the posts and seeing what people are doing - while getting a little inspiration myself.
My car is the new FX4 Max (Australian Tremor) in Conquer Grey delivered in Feb 21. Modifications so far are:
ARB long range tank
EGR roll track hard tonneau cover
Carbon vinyl roof and bonnet (is it a hood in the USA)
in progress - full vinyl wrap to stop those pesky tree branches

Howdy folks, new to the boards and picked up my 2021 Lariat Tremor, Carbonized Grey, on Saturday. Drove a 1996 Ranger for a long time as a teen, been wanting one since they came back in '19 and finally saved the scratch to pick one up, in no small part thanks to the knowledge here helping me decide what I wanted to go with.

Arrow's my co-pilot, you can see she's claimed the back seats as her domain.
