I get the tires balanced every 10,000 miles.Ford will do mine with the oil changes until that feature runs out, and then I'll have my shop do it (as someone else here posted).
I have a bit of a pet peeve about this, and wonder if I'm the only one...
When I have my tires rotated, I ALWAYS ask to have them balanced. Every time. And every time I do, the tech finds it necessary to ask me why. I end up telling them because I asked them to do it. I don't understand why this is an issue here in AZ, but it seems to be.
It's important to note that without fail at least one tire needs a weight adjustment.
Don't y'all ever balance your tires when you rotate?
