I know it was a while ago, but do you remember the wall thickness on that 1x3 aluminum tubing for your bed rack?
It was 1/8”. Being tubing, 1/8” was plenty thick for high strength.

Bothered me not having a flex pipe at the DP so I had one welded on and added a resonator downstream as well. Exhaust is all sealed and sounds much better.

Pulled my emblems off and painted them today. I’ll have them back on the truck tomorrow but here’s a little preview. Matte black on gloss black.

The emblem actually comes apart so you can paint those pieces individually.

Hey man, love the build. I plan on going in a very similar direction. With your +20mm of offset, how much room do you have between the tire and the spindle? I want to go 285/75/17 with ICON's Rebound wheel which is +25mm of offset but not sure how close they will get. Would love to get your thoughts on what's possible when it comes to clearance and offset. Thanks!

You’ll have no issue whatsoever. I’m about to switch to 285/75-17 as well. It’s something like 0.2” narrower than 285/70-17 so that make fitment even better. Here’s how much room I have now:

I don’t have pics, they’re long gone. It’s just the plastic air damn thing under the bumper.
gotcha, i had not heard them referred to like that so i wanted to be on the same page. My BDS UCA's will arrive today and then installing them and the Bilstein 5100's / level lift on Wednesday. Great job on your build thread, I venture up to the north side once in a while to hit the woodworking stores, we should meet sometime so i can look over your mods!
