Thanks everyone for the congratulations!

To make a long story short I had to travel 160 miles round trip today to rural CA. Left the house around 7:30 am, just returned home at 3:00 pm.

I agreed to X Plan pricing before I drove down and I also got them to send proof of life photos so I knew they weren’t jerking me around. Window sticker was $38,890, paid $37,355 with X plan and only $85 for doc fee.

Reached out to my dealer today and was told my order has fallen off their radar.? I’m on vacation until next Wednesday and when I return to the Northeast, I am driving to the dealer and asking for a refund of my deposit and am going to go buy dealer stock somewhere else as there is enough inventory now. I ordered this last August and will not order another Ford vehicle again after this experience. Absolutely horrible communication and am now considering a different make and model all together. How Ford cannot track a $40000 vehicle from Michigan, yet Amazon can track diapers from anywhere in the world is beyond me.

I know this doesn't mean much at this point, I would be just as angry as you, but your situation rarely happens. I would assume it has to do with the launch. I've special ordered the last 4 vehicles I've purchased, besides my Focus ST, and have never had a problem.

Does anyone understand the shipping codes on the window sticker? Rail, Ramp 1, RA79. Is the RA79 a rail car? location? Any idea. My dealer has 3 rangers on order and all have the same code. None have been received.

I feel your pain. But keep in mind that they didn't start building them until right after thanksgiving. Normally they are going to build units first for dealer stock and then start mixing in the retail sold orders. Go online to https://shop.ford.com/inventory/ranger/?gnav=footer-shop and look yourself. I just had Google up in another browser and looked up zip codes to plug in with a max 100 miles radius to see what was available. That's how I found my Lightning Blue Ranger. Told my dealer where it was. He said he would look through his locator tools as well for others. Told him he wouldn't find another one built east of the Mississippi. He said I was right...lol!

My Ranger left Body shop and is awaiting shipping. Was only in bodyshop 2 days.

Don’t be afraid to shop around. Inventory for XLT FX4s is awful in California (not super necessary out here), but I still found my needle in the haystack.

My Ranger left Body shop and is awaiting shipping. Was only in bodyshop 2 days.

What does your tracking look like? I still have N/A for my truck and it went to the body shop the week of 2/10.

Does anyone have or know of a way to contact some one of authority with Ford? I’m at a loss with my local branch. No one can get me an answer... I want to purchase a truck but it’s surprisingly difficult to do if you can’t get anyone to help.

Nope... I’m running off pure assumptions. No updates from anyone. Just the usual run around.

Key words in the production phase are “This can take a few days.” 11 days apparently...
