Lol I remember those. I also remember my first CD player which was on sale for $800. Now they're under $100.
Still looking for an 8-track player to integrate into the factory sound system. Is that wrong?

Do you have any problems latching it near the tailgate? I found the Ford one that looks similar to yours, was in the way and I really had to manipulate it to latch. I eventually cut out a small section of the bed extender to make it latch much easier.
No issues latching my AMP Max bed extender. Just adjust the straps for the latches and you’re good to go.

WOW the memories !
You're not kidding Bret. Some are a little foggy now seeing this was back in the 80's.

BOSTON ROCKS!
Boston was my first concert I ever went to I think it was in '79 and Sammy Hagar was the back up band.

Looks like the case I use to have. Had the Frampton tape too, also saw him in concert.
I'm jealous I saw a lot of concerts back then but I never saw Frampton. Another one I miss not seeing was Queen.

Gave her a wash and heard crackling around the rear Ford emblem when drying the truck. The area around the lettering looks to be cracking. I can only guess from the strong South Florida sun. Not a good sign when the company logo cannot last.

Also noticed the trim on the door is turning white on both the drivers side and the passenger side in the same area located between the front and rear windows.

I agree the company logo should be better quality. The one on my 2011 Super duty did the same thing about 7 years in. 80$ to replace. A little 303 protectant on all rubber and vinal after wash will keep it looking good.

Yeah, cruising the Ave with Steppenwolf "Born to be Wild" on the 8-track. Always hated when it did a track jump in the middle of a song.

It was more the latches on the Trifecta 2.0 locking against the rail of the truck, that I was asking about. I found it very hard to do it, as the extender blocked it and I cut out a portion of the extender, with no impact to the extender. It made it much simpler then to latch the tonneau cover.

I love my Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 tonneau cover and my Ford Bed extender.

Installed the ESI tailgate seal kit this morning on my truck (Randy the Ranger). After installing the canopy, I've noticed that while driving on dusty roads the gap between the tailgate and body acts like a vacuum and allows in a surprising amount of dust. The kit comes with pretty good instructions and seals both sides as well as the bottom between the gate and bed floor. Only took about an hour total (lots of sticking and peeling off to get location better). You can see the significant gap in the 2nd photo, and the sealed gap in the 3rd. Also took the opportunity to give Randy a wash while i was in the heated bay at work. Its already dirty though:crying:

I've got this kit sitting in my garage waiting on warmer weather for installation. I didn't want any issues with the adhesive and the cold. A lot of dust manages to make it up into the bed!

   NO not wrong at all. Recently talking to a friend that is a bit younger than I am. I mentioned that back in the day, 1969ish I added a Reverb to the AM radio in my 57 Chevy (first car). He had no idea what that was.

So just in case others don't know a Reverb added a little delay to a rear speaker to simulate stereo sound. It was like being in an echo chamber. But to a 17 year old it was way cool. It was actually a factory option on some cars.?
