Can't your tuner just edit your custom tune with your tire info then?

Tuner as in the person that wrote your custom tune

I called 5Star. They said I should see it but since I am not, they are going to contact SCT and get it corrected and put out an update.

Well hold on. I’m running the 93 performance tune from 5star. I’ve had the same tune for months and did not hit them up for a new tune when SCT released this. Something else strange seems to be going on here.

Sounds like something else is going on. I have been running the 93 performance 5Star tune since July. Maybe now that the canned tune loaded, I will try the custom tune again and see if it is there.

No such luck when I loaded the 93 tune just now. Only gives me the option with the canned tune.
I updated the tuner yesterday.

On a positive note, the adjusted tire size is spot on according to GPS. Cruise set at 55mph, GPS says 55 mph for an extended drive.

Where do you get the new tire size? did you use the mfgs numbers or a generic tire size calculator? i'm upgrading tires soon lol

I measured the height of the tire but like the Hypertech, the size to use does not match the tire height. My Nitto Ridge Grapplers are just over 33”. I used 31.25” with the Hypertech. It was dead on.
With the SCT 32” was the number. 31.25” was too fast. Reading 63mph at 60 speedo. A little trial and error.

Looking for info.. I just recently bought and installed The Bully Dog BDX tuner, my truck runs much better but having a little bit of a trans issue fourth gear holds a little long then shifts into 5th with a noticeable hard hit. But only driving just normal.. not if my foot is in the petal.. So one question is does the trans still need to learn all over again after the install..

Are you guys updating your firmware?? I see it says for Tech Support Use Only.

Although I did notice it updated the FW after I updated the device and connected it to my truck. But still no option to change tire size. I'm running 5 Star tunes.

I have the SCT X4 with tunes from a few different companies and the SCT always asks if I changed tire size and what my axel ratio is before I can download the tune.
