Only 8 inch arrived despite a 18 to 24 forecast. We got lucky. Tried the TM set to snow. Seemed to work fine. Not enough snow to really tell.

We have a different idea of lucky it seems. I would've considered it lucky to get the whole 24"! haha Only 8 of 24 is such a copout and a tease. haha
Exactly the opposite here. Forecast 6-8, actual about 20, and still falling. Had a blast doing four-wheel donuts in the cul de sac before the plow came :)

I am sorry to admit but I am one of those idiots that believe everyone else is in my way when it snows. Throw it in four wheel drive and run like an a$$hole. My only redeeming quality is that I always stop to help others out when they get stuck, especially if I caused it. ;) And why is it that all these people buy SUV's and four wheel drive vehicles and then don't even drive right? ?

A happy retired guy
Went out to driveway this morning and grabbed the snow blower to remove 12 inches of ice crusted snow . Looked at the ranger and said " No way " and went back inside no driving today . Yeah I can not guess how much salt was on the roads !

Most winters we get multiple 18 snows, so missing one of them is good. Last year was super easy. It is fun s long as you don't have to do the digging!

Like a little kid, I'm always hoping for large amounts of snow but around here it just seems to stay Michigan grey. For those that haven't heard of it, that is a color that should be in a Crayola box. When winter comes around here it turns grey, with little snow, until spring.

We moved here for the mild year-around temps and of course consistent snow. We XC ski, hike and are MBers. Should we be looking at houses for you??
I wish! The employment opportunities aren't really great up there are they? I did try to get a job doing IT work for NOAA but they picked someone else.

Anyways, it's always just so bleak and depressing down that way.
Yes, yes it is. It's grey right now, it was grey yesterday, and it will be grey tomorrow.
