Thanks

Do you have a standard receiver pin, or a locking one?
Just a standard pin. I live in the sticks, we don't worry much about theft. If I lived somewhere more populated though, I'd probably have a locking pin. As far as pin strength goes, I have no concerns there.

I live in the sticks too, so I will leave it in, thanks.

Edit: I had a spare locking pin, so I added it, just because it was available. I like that the shackle is at the ready.

I just received mine too but to darn cold to apply it. I read or sow where it needs to be 50dg+ when applied. Any truth to this? We won’t see 50dg around here until spring.
I just emailed my friend who works there. He said 40 is the lowest temp. any lower and it could have problems curing on the surface. What about putting a heater in the garage for a few hours on a nicer day? I know sometimes you get those "January thaws" where it can get into the 50's. You can use this in direct sunlight too

One thing is you don't need a lot of product just a couple of sprays on the foam pad or microfiber pad goes a long way. Also make sure you crosshatch it for best coverage. I did apply 2 coats because it gives you better protection and the suns UV rays are brutal out here. You an apply up to 3 coats. As soon as you see it haze over (it'll turn white) then go back and buff out. I did two panels at a time but it was still warm here.

Oh and don't wear anything you don't want ruined. The product is black and if you lean into it it will stain your cloths unless you wash it right away. Ask me how I know? :headbang:

My white shirt now has black streaks on it. ?
LOL...you should have just rolled around in the stuff. That way your white shirt would be black now. BOOM!!! Problem solved. I thought you were going to say because of your overuse of a damper on the tailgate, your arms were too weak to lift the sponge/cloth and you got it all over yourself that way.

Just the opposite. My arms are getting bigger since adding the damper! ?

Great! Now, it's naked car buffing in addition to the damper pressure washer D-ring thing. The Dark Side is a fierce mistress :captain:

I've had it almost 24 hours, and it was 40 degrees, so I figured why not wash the truck. :handsinair:

Apparently my truck came with the "Ecoboost Badge Delete" option.

Wasn't one on it, and the funny thing was, I Planned on removing it.

There was a production change and the badge is no longer included. Looks clean without it though

Finished the disassembly and swapped in the Lariat headlights. I think the headlights might be the main structural support for the entire truck. So many bolts and more locktite then I have ever seen

I was going for the Rick Astley look. Just need some hair dye now. :sunglasses:
Just go rub your head against your truck when you wash/ceramic dye coat it/spongey sudsy stuff...or whatever. Keeps the gray away! Side note (think I may have asked you this before), but what tires are you currently running (size and do you have a lift/level kit)? Thanks -E

I have a RC 2.5" level kit and tires are Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70/17.
