Hopefully it can be removed.
Not with that 35 Sasquatch tire/wheel hanging on that door. Nice to see Ford got it right and made it standard. Guess it's safe to say you won't be getting a Bronco. lol ?

Same issue, I just got my truck 2 weeks ago & the first rain the bed was wet. I carry my samples & though there would be no issues with water. I’m looking for another seal for the cover. If I find one that works I will post it.
That would be great. Some others have used some household weatherstripping on top of the tailgate. I only have 2500 miles on my truck in 6 months and it’s in the garage most of the time, but when I retire in 2 years we are hitting the road and using the Ranger as our toad so i will need a solution to the gap by then.

Sid, I think you are getting your Star Wars and your Star Trek mixed up! ??
Hopefully it can be removed.
Al, you've already subconsciously decided to get one. As you can see in your replies here, your attempt to damper the damper is a double negative and therefore renders a positive.

Dave, he'll need the code within the next 48 hours.:inspect:

Today I removed and replaced the goofy SPORT 4X4 decals from the bed sides. I think these look a little better... a little more subdued.... a little more stealthy.

It’s wax. Hard and dry to the touch. The Ford dealer recommends it, and will include it as a dealer option at purchase. They’re not afraid of it.
Interesting,when I heard oil,that’s all I could think of.
‘I used to work for Zebart back in the early 80’s,and it too was a was based type of product.
Man that was a nasty job...
‘Fortunately I never did underside where it is just raining down on you all day.It was bad enough that it floated in the air all day long in the shop.

Welcome to the old man club lol...I recall they drilled holes and sprayed it inside of doors and frames...added at least 100 pounds of permanent sludge to your Detroit iron... ?

Just a good cleanup and detail on a beautiful Fall day. Clean enough to reflect a nice sunset today. :) ?

I was a kid back in the seventies so everything I drove was already a rust bucket lol...my first car, a 69 Triumph GT6 literally had rust through the driver floor that I would bounce up and down while rain blasted in...fun times ?
