Dear lord am I glad I dont work on cars for a living any more.
If I did though,the added charge for dealing with that coating would be epic!

It’s wax. Hard and dry to the touch. The Ford dealer recommends it, and will include it as a dealer option at purchase. They’re not afraid of it.

I didn't do anything to it today but I did order a Ford ESP premium extended warranty from Ziegler Ford for it. 6years/75K for $815 with 10 days premium rental coverage in that price. I thought that was a pretty good deal for the extra coverage.

That sounds like a very fair price. Hopefully you never need it, but it’s nice to have the extra coverage just in case.

Welcome to the old man club lol...I recall they drilled holes and sprayed it inside of doors and frames...added at least 100 pounds of permanent sludge to your Detroit iron... ?
