Good luck. I'm still trying to convince my girlfriend she needs the new Bronco too. She likes my Ranger so I'm hoping once they're out and she drives it she'll like it. ?
But who's forking the bill :giggle:

Dave, tell her like I told the wife. It'll be 2 years for sure before the average person will be able to get a Bronco, and her car will be worn out by them. TBH, it didn't work worth a chit with the wife, but it was fun to try. :)

However, she did say I could get one for myself if I wanted. Damn, I luv that woman harder than a goat can butt a stump. So, I reserved one knowing it will still be 2 years before I will be able to even get a sniff of one. I expect I'll actually be able to get into a Bronco the day before the state takes my license 'cause I too cotton pickin' old to drive.
Jim, that just might work out. Her Honda Civic lease will be up in 2023. By then there might not be a wait/reserve list and any kinks will be worked out. She's been driving my Ranger more since she's been working here from home (instead of Chicago) and starting to like and get use to it. Once they hit the sealers next spring I'll have to take her for a test drive. ?

Which one did you reserve?

Hopefully her because I'll be the one springing for all the mods she doesn't know she needs. :p

If you by the damper now, you'll be ahead of the game and you can tell her that the damper REQUIRES a Bronco to work effectively...

I'm betting the Bronco already has one. Ford learned from their mistake by not putting one in the Ranger. :bandit:

@AzScorpion Dave, I reserved an Outer Banks. I've grown to like the niceties in my Sahara, i.e. leather, Dual Zone Air, heated seats/steering wheel etc. I reserved with Granger Ford in Iowa which works out good for us. We get another road trip, that we enjoy, and pick up the Bronco on the way. The deal they have for this month worked out right in our timeline as I was planning on waiting until the middle of 2022 to order anyway. And, as it seems to be going that will probably be the earliest the average person will be able to get one anyway. It's the best deal I've seen as my local dealer wont' tell me, but my bet is they'll have a dealer mark up. Here's the link if you're interested. All you have to do is join the forum, reserve your Bronco (that can be changed when the time comes) send in the 100 bucks that's refundable if you change your mind , and send a PM to Granger with your user name to let them know you're in with them. The link shows $1000 below invoice, but if you reserve in the month of October they make it 2K under. That's why they want you to PM them so they can link you to that 2K.

This offer kinda waits until the rush is over. And. that works for me also.

Thanks Jim now you got me thinking, that's a good deal! I read through some of the newer posts on that forum and it looks like even if your order number came up earlier you can pass for a later date and still get the discounted price. Do you have to place your exact order now (model and package) or are you just holding your place? I really like the Badlands model with the Lux package but it looks like you can change your order up until the build date? It's also nice you only need $100.00 down and it's refundable. I'm really thinking of just holding a place for one then hopefully by mid to end of next year there will be more info out on a Ranger Raptor.

@AzScorpion Dave, you're just holding your place with the reservation, and can order any trim you want then when called. My best laid plans of mice, and men are I hope I can order around the middle of 2022. We like to travel out your way in mid August. We go further north, and want to avoid that white stuff. And, August is a great time. I'm sure Granger will let someone hold their order if they call sooner than you want. I would think if you give up your place in line they could drop you closer to the time you want to order. I communicated with Albert at Granger. He is a super nice helpful guy, and expect he'll work with a person. BTW, I do like the Badlands. I know I don't need all that extra stuff, but I ain't gettin' any younger. So I may just say what the hell, and order it anyway. :)

BTW, the build/price page is suppose (I say suppose) to be up by the middle of the month. But, Ford didn't say what year. :) Ford has had a few false starts with quite a few things concerning the Bronco. The B/P page was to be active mid September, but didn't quite make it.

Just got an email for a new Ford Credit Card? Rewards come in the form of Ford rewards points. Anybody else get it? Thoughts on getting it? Seems like some decent perks there, especially for big purchases. For example,0% on large purchase like a set of tires and 10% back in rewards (assuming its through a dealer, 5% from the card, 5% from ford rewards). I'm on the fence whether I want to grab one or not. I'm open to your thoughts.

I recently got a FordPass Visa and used it for a 0% interest purchase of running boards and mud guards. I alternate using it with my GM BuyPower Card that earns 5% rebate on the first $5K every year. There is no fee, so you have no costs to get/keep.

Is the Ford pass card plastic or stainless steel? I can't find an answer online. I have an amazon card and a verizon card in stainless and that's kinda cool. A lot of cards are moving that direction.

Well I did it. Pulled the trigger on the application. Will recieve in 7-10 days. I think I may buy my gas / insurance with it for now and see how quickly it adds up. Small amount = some accessories from the parts catalog. Big amount = down payment on a bronco??!! A boy can dream I guess.

I guess if you plan on buying a lot of stuff through the dealer it might be beneficial? Buying tires from the dealer you're really not going to get much in savings. You're going to pay a lot more for tires there than you would from say Discount Tire or buying online.

I just use my Capital One card for every purchase and rack up my points on one card which I get 1.5 points for every $1.00 spent. This way I'm not locked in to one reward (Ford) and I can redeem my points for anything I want whether it be auto parts, plane tickets or just a credit to my account for specific purchases.
Not necessarily, when I had my Charger I found the tires I wanted online and my dealer price matched them and gave me a discount on the install. I always make sure to develop a good relationship with my dealer for just that reason.

Hmmm...You might be on to something there Larry. :like:

I put a deposit on the Bronco on Monday. I have 2 years to try and convince her but the more I read and watch videos on the Bronco the more I want it. Would be nice to keep them both in the family.
