Does the Ranger XL trim model come with a rear 2" receiver hitch?

Being new in the trucking world and the 2019 Ford Ranger XL is my first truck - still on order.
I would think that all trucks come with a rear trailer hitch receiver? Or is that extra?

You can purchase the Trailer Tow Package for $495 that comes with a Class IV trailer hitch receiver and 4/7 pin wiring. That also comes with tow/haul mode for the Transmission, which will be helpful.

The short answer is "no" it does not come with a receiver hitch. As Rangerdanger noted, you can order the tow package. Most pickups come with a hole in the rear bumper for a hitch ball, but that is for light towing only, and does not include the wiring for trailer lights.

The new Ranger does come with a 4-plug wiring for trailer lights and the bumper ball mount stock, for a 3500# tow rating on the bumper.

The tow package includes the Class IV receiver ,RV plug, 4plug and associated wiring for a 7500# tow rating when used with a brake controller... (Or surge brakes maybe?)

Along with TowHaul mode which may? or may not? come without the tow package???
