In the continuing saga of the switchbacks, really didn't like the hyperflash dash indicators, so configured laptop to be the Forscan machine, connected up and applied the fix for hyperblink front turns.

This, in turn, caused the driver side flasher to do a 1-2-1-2-1-2...sequence which it wasn't doing yesterday. But switching polarity on the bulb-in-socket fixed that (pull bulb, rotate 180 degrees, reinstall). No more hyperblinking dash flashers and front/rear flashers doing fine. I like the white running lights addition.

Now, auto light function turns on low beams all the time, but green "lows" icon is lit and interior lights are all in night mode - before, the icon was off in auto mode the day time and dash lights bright.

I just had a thought about the turn bulb and I'll go reverse it again and see what it does, but anybody run across this before?

Removed the non-matching spare wheel and tire without TPMS, and replaced with a 5th matching wheel/tire/TPMS. The four other tires had 1000 miles on them, so I did a 5-tire rotation to work it into the mix. I'll be disposing of the 16" steelie and Dynapro HT by giving them away to anyone local who can use them.

Replaced the stock spare with the matching Nitto Ridge Grappler. We're heading up to Utah next month and wanted a matching spare just in case, you know Murphys law. Also made sure they put the valve stem facing down so I can now air check it. Thanks to Discount Tire for the great quick service!

Got the Eibach stage 2 front side installed. Doing the rear in the morning. I couldn't get them out without taking the axle nut off since I already had the 2.5" tough country installed. Outside of that the bottom shaft being misaligned a little and trying to slice my fingers off it all went well. Took about 3 1/2 hours with the blunders and a couple breaks. Sure wish I had a garage.

Your jack stands were recalled due to collapsing under load. You may have just gotten very lucky my friend.

I just got the 1st oil change at the dealer (with Ford Pass Points), "The Works" was $50. I asked the young tech doing it before he took it in, to please check the oil and drain plug for dirt/debris, and when he was done, he said the oil was clean, almost like new. Well, I got the Ranger right after Christmas and by now only have 3,000 miles on it in 8 months, but we're heading to Bethany Beach, DE tomorrow for 2 weeks and I wanted it checked based on what some of you guys were saying. It doesn't have a magnetic drain plug from stock, so I'm going with what the service guy told me. BTW, he was loving my HPR Ranger with the few doo-dads I added, he said it made it look slightly/understated custom. This dealer seems to love black, silver and saber, those are the 3 on the lot, and that's what he usually gets in. Strange taste, no white, red, blue, yadda yadda...

Think I'm averaging 20.2 mpg for the 3,000 miles, this will be a nice little test trip, only about 200 miles. Wife is complaining, she wants to take her Escape, but I put my foot down. By that I mean I whined and held my breath until she said OK  Personally, I love the ride.

Hey there! Thank you! Let me start by saying this is a 2wd. Not much need for 4x4 in SoCal! I have a fordrangerlifts.com 3” leveling kit. Tires are Nitro 285/70r17’s and wheels are fuel Rebel 17x9 with +20mm offset. I did remove factory crash bars and installed BDS ones and now no rub at all ?
