It does sound a little high pitched but it's not BAD.
The phone does not capture how bad it really is.
Sounds a lot like this to me or any of the ones in the second vide.

I wouldn't necessarily ditch the setup. Maybe try a different muffler? I was nervous what mine would sound like, but now I love how deep it is. Just a flowmaster style chambered muffler. I don't have a downpipe however. I tried to avoid the high pitch sound at all costs and it came out great.

I put a northern territory plate on it for fun. Just to throw people off when I post on Instagram.

I had some bloke confused from an Australian group with my truck! He said it looked like it was an Australian truck, but it looked a little different! LOL (Our front end/grill and bumper are different than the trucks in Oz.)

Did a few 0-60 runs today. Consistent 6.0 launching in 4hi at about 2800 rpm. Try 2wd and nothing but smoke the tires.

Pulled the SPD hi-flow cat downpipe back off and wrapped it. Put it back on and uploaded the new tune. Drove it and got gas in preparation for Hurricane Laura's arrival. Talk about some smoke. Man, the high temp silicone spray smokes like a mofo when it burns off and cures. I thought the truck was on fire as well as everyone at the gas station.
The one negative about the SPD downpipe and exhaust is the super ricer sound. Not a fan and not a rice boy. Not sure what to do. I am actually considering pulling the SPD cat back exhaust off and putting the factory exhaust back on.

Buy a universal resonator from Borla and splice it into your exhaust, it'll quiet it all down without a loss of power.

CoverKing Neosupreme cover installed, rear seat only. Very nice quality and fit. Not bunchy or weird around the edges. Would recommend.

Received and installed a tailgate dampene, Rough Country soft tri-fold and a DeeZee rubber bed mat. The dampener and the mat are great. Tri-fold is just OK. It doesn't seem like it seals up against the tailgate very well. You get what you pay for I guess.

Whoa...another clone thread? The trouble with Tribbles...:)
Clone?
Not Tribbles, as they naturally reproduced.
It'd be Harry Mudd that had trouble with the cloning (of his awesome wife).

Installed LED headlights
IMG_1322.JPG

Took 15 minutes for 3. Passenger side high beam ...of course, behind airbox and filler tube... would not unlock bulb unless wiring was disconnected first and reverse true putting in new LED. Manufacturing tolerance shift on bulb housing probably...dunno, but took about an hour to do that 1 light. (I do not have Olive Oyl hands and arms from tailgate damper and my Bluto sized hands are pretty well bruised on top...like old man hands do LOL!!!) ?

Fog lights arriving sometime today...that'll be a good day  putting those in!
