Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Ordered my new Ranger back on October 10th Hadn't heard a word from my dealer until last week when he joyfully sent me a text showing a tracking number of 35846 Also says Order Verification status approved. My '16 Tacoma lease is expiring. Where are you all getting your status/Vin information?

Plantation? I ordered October 29th then changed the order on 11/5. I was shown their ROVP order sheet which showed two orders ahead of mine. Still no info, however very hopeful for this week. Cannot believe how random the production process is, with more recently submitted orders already scheduled and I'm still in the dark....

Anybody receive an XLT with 302a package yet that can confirm a push button start? I was under the impression it didn't but when I view the 360 interior on the ROV tracking it shows push button. It has remote start so maybe they go together?

I know theres alot of misinformation with images on Ford sites so I'm just checking

I drove an XLT 302a and it had a key.

I noticed the same thing yesterday. I don't think we'll see a push button start on the XLT now.

However I'm still confused what I do with the key after I do the Remote start. Have to wait and see.

@rangerdanger for FWIW, the XLT I have on the spreadsheet is in production and listed for delivery 2/17 now so probably on the same line as yours. Might as well wait to update the sheet until I confirm the details on my final order though.

You will probably have to insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the On position to unlock the steering wheel and transmission and turn on all the electronics. At least that is the way it works in GM cars.

I guess that's a good thing. Thief can't drive off with your truck

DHare's correct. All my F-150's were XLT with remote start, and key. That's how it works. On another note, none of my XLT trucks had top engine covers.

Not a huge deal, but my build date is now 1-Feb.

Also, has anyone paid any attention to when trucks where supposed to arrive vs actual arrival date?

Yo, my tracker says it was delivered! That mean there is a good chance yours is as well! I recommend calling instead of checking the tracker. I sent an email to confirm. But I will likely head over there today.
