Hope you can get it sorted with some sort of resolution soon. after watching your video the corroded wiring harness could have major implications. I am surprised you are getting the run around its a good example of something that needs investigation by the manufacture to see what went wrong.

The worst part is you'll never be at ease with the truck even if they somehow declare it fixed you'll never trust it again.

Finally someone who really gets it! Thank you for your support! Yah I'm heading into the dealership tomorrow to have a chat. Just to see what can be done other than having to keep bringing it's back over and over.

*UPDATE*
Hey everyone just wanted to give you all a Monday update. I spoke with CAMVAP this morning and I do have grounds to start a file with them. It's basically arbitration between the Company and myself to help us come to an agreement. As well I went in and spoke with the service manager at my local Ford D. Alex McDonald. And I have nothing but positive things to say about them and the service department there. The service manager printed me off everything I have brought my truck in for. Will update you guys again with more news when it comes in. Cheers and have a great week everyone!

I dont understand.
Why is an arbitrator required at this point if you have a dealer whos great , and working with you?
The dealership is great, good people, helpful, compassionate, and understanding of what is going on with the vehicle and my situation. But there is only so much a dealership can do for a customer. The dealerships did not manufacture the truck. Ford manufactured the vehicle. And this specific vehicle has faults, that have been continuous throughout my less than one year of owning it. When one issue goes away or is "fixed" more pop up. As a consumer when you purchase a new vehicle you expect a new vehicle with minimal faults. The amount of issues that this specific vehicle has is way more than what should be acceptable. Again I'm very happy that you got a good one. I did not. And I honestly don't think you would have the same attitude if you were in my shoes. Cheers.

i think Ford would want to fix your car so they could learn from it and make a better truck... but that's just my way of thinking

Yes I see what you are saying with my title. I was referring to my vehicle in particular sorry for the confusion. I'm very glad that you have gotten 15 months of solid driving out of your ranger and that yours is safe. Mine is not. And the problem is with the company, by extension the dealerships are part of ford Canada. Also please look through some of the history of service records I posted to see if it is "debatable" wether I purchased a bunk truck or not. But hey, you aren't in my shoes with a 2019 truck that is not working the way a 2019 truck should. So Its easy for you to say I'm trolling or BSing or full of it. But hey it's the internet and you are totally aloud to have your opinion. But just for a few minutes put yourself in my shoes. Cheers.
My Suggestion would be to take your Lumps......Trade it in on your Toyota Tacoma & Move On....Life is too short for this Nonsense......No Reason to complain any longer...Go Get a New Tacoma Tomorrow..........Good Luck!

sorry youre having so many problems..... its is enough to ruin you on ford-- I had one small issue with a ford vehicle and the dealer was on my side as well,----they agreed it was. an obvious defect BUT Ford would not allow the repair calling it cosmetic. it was eventually resolved but the dealer had to fight with me and for me to get it authorized. Many don't realize that the dealer has to be paid for warranty work by ford, they cannot just replace things even if they know that is the problem, it has to be authorized to be paid by ford so they are kind of stuck in the middle and having a dealer that is willing to get into the fight is kind of rare. good luck and I hope it gets fixed. or a generous enough trade in allowance for you to get into another one without losing your a$$....

Im not sure why you believe that others who question your situation have flawless trucks.
We dont.
Ive had more problems than you, although not the same problems, and my dealer seems to be able to fix them independently of Ford Canada.
Not sure why you have an untouchable white elephant that a good mechanic cant fix without the blessing of Ford.

Im just confused i guess.
Okay. Let's both back up here because I think we are both some how losing information with eachother. Egos aside. Let's start over. What issues have you had with yours?

You have my sympathies concerning your problems. I went through basically the same thing with a 2016 Canyon, but with one big exception. The truck only had 23,000 miles on it, but was almost four years old! I went to three dealerships and they all were very sympathetic, but GM wouldn't budge. The last mechanic that worked on the truck suggested that I trade it for a new Ranger!
