Now that's scary! Consumer reports has been wrong on everything from toasters to trucks for 50 years.
I'll try not to be afraid to drive my Ranger this week!:giggle:
You are right about Consumer Reports. They bashed Apple iPhone and iMacs, etc. They do not understand Apple's quality control. I have been using them for over 25 years and haven't go to the repair shop. My 20 years old MacBookPro laptop still works! Consumer Reports often got it wrong! Especially when it comes to Apple or Ford Ranger!!!

99% of the time general Motors Trend crucifies Ford products
Yup! I think they are upset that they did not get any perks from Ford such as beer, etc.

Hi David,

I actually subscribed to this very biased and terrible magazine for the sole purpose of watching their biased Automotive assessments. It was highly suggested that those of us at a certain level subscribe to see the crap they post on non pet manufacturers while aggrandizing some like ToyLet for example. When I retired I dropped the magazine is it is not of value for most things.

I must agree with you on CR's bashing of the Ranger, however I find the iPhone to be useless (I was saddled with such a device for 4 years as a Fire Inspector) and absolutely hated it. But then, I am a dyed in the wool Android/Windows, Ford person.
Comes down to how one pronounces "potato". I suppose...lol

It’s Pa-Tah-Toe, of course. Unless you are south of the Mason-Dixon, then it’s Tay-Ter.

Actually, the Hawaiians were quite literal in their words but somehow this gem got caught off the tangent.
The translation literally means "trigger fish with a pigs snout", not very flattering, I'd say...

Modified Ranger review. Dont know much about this youtube channel but he reviews a pretty heavily modified Ranger:
He has been around a while.
Fits guy. Reviews Mustangs also. Has a detailing line also I think. Good guy.

Phil, I dropped my subscription to Motor Trend in 1972 when they picked the Chevrolet Vega as their car of the year, and I bought one. :crying:
