I also did my first oil change, truck has about 4300km’s or about 2600 miles. My oil level had maintained its same level throughout and after the oil change is slightly lower than before I changed it. I’ll continue to keep an eye on it now that this forum has me paranoid about fuel in the oil.
Yes, check it regularly, I had the same paranoia when that "Fuel in Oil" thread was first started and was quite relieved that my oil looked good and held a consistent level. Fast forward a few months, and during a routine oil level check, probably check the oil at least once every 3 weeks or so, it was way over full at just over 3000 miles since the last oil change, and reeked of gasoline. It was up to the twist and I drained out nearly 7.8 qts. After that oil change, I continued driving the truck and in a week it was just above the max mark, so I visited the dealer. They took an oil sample and sent it out for testing. It came back at 12% fuel dilution. I wonder how much fuel was in the oil when it was up to the twist? Anyway, truck is at the dealer waiting on parts, after running several tests that Ford required, they are changing out the injectors and the HPFP. My truck was perfect for the first 13,500 miles or so and now has 15, 461 miles on it. I have changed the oil 4 times in the last 2000 miles trying to avoid damage while the dealer figured out what to do with it. They gave me a nice 2020 XL F150 SupeCrew loaner, but I can't wait to get my Ranger back.

It sure seems like there should be a recall coming for these fuel pumps. They obviously got a bad batch or worse a poorly designed pump.

Finished installing automatic lights in the tonneau covers. I carry quite a bit of "stuff" and like to be able to find things after the sun sets.

Bought the wiring harness for the 12v bed power outlet from Ford, clipped off the socket end and used that to grab power under the bed.

Used 4 conductor security system cabling so I can include power locks in the final outcome. Routed the power from the left rear wheel well into the bed through the oval rubber plug in the side of the bed.

Split the power under the hinges for the tonneau cover and route to momentary switches attached to brackets I made on the cover itself. When closed, the switch turns off the lights.

Lights themselves are cheap LED strip lights from Amazon.

For now, using zip ties and square, self adhesive retainers for the wiring, will probably use a butyl rubber sealant to secure the wiring to each rim of the covers because in time., the doubled sided foam tape on the square retainers will fail where the butyl will maintain it's integrity.

Painted the tips for my Roush exhaust. They only come polished, however my truck is completely blacked out. I used a base \clear in my trucks color code. Install will happen either today or tomorrow.
