Please mark my 8/25/2018 order as CANCELLED. Still did not get a VIN or build date. I discovered a couple of weeks ago that this dealership has an F rating at the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I had purchased 2 Fords there several years ago, and that was all good. They've since changed ownership.
Went to another dealer and ordered the same build (again). So please add a new row with order date of today, 12/13/2018.
This new dealer is awesome! They have an A+ rating with BBB. They told me I will have the ROVP approval tomorrow. I should receive the VIN and build date next week, and are telling me that I will get a build date of mid to late January, and delivery date of late February. And, they filled out the form for the $50 gift card from the test drive sign up last Saturday from the Ft. Worth Auto Show. This new dealer is about to move to a new location and are claiming they will be the largest Ford dealer in the the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
So, if you are reading this and have not yet pre-ordered, please check the BBB rating of your dealership before ordering so you don't get stuck with the same ordeal that I did.
