Hi Gregg,

Appointment was a partial disaster. Got the Script I needed for a couple pair of glasses with various strategies, but the followup refraction was such a bust the tech gave up as I could not see squat I was only able to see the Big E and every "which is better...1 or 2?" it got worst. So then placed in a chair for the ophthalmologist. Got the lenses checked, retina verified intact...the the discussion of what went wrong with the refraction. She was totally baffled...she has done thousands of cataract surgeries and she had never seen anything close to what I experienced. She said that the things that would cause this inability to refract all proved negative in my case...:confused::confused::confused: Her only good news is I am now seeing 20/25 for distance for the first time in my life! I check back in 8 months or if something goes south...call and she will see me immediately.

Sorry you didn't get the desired results from your surgery. We never know the outcome. Prior to my left eye surgery, I had been using reading glasses for years, but now, I don't need them anymore. My distance vision, though, is a different matter. I'm having to get glasses just to drive. Your vision may improve with time, so just keep the faith. Hang in there, friend!

How many points did that thing cost?
If you are asking about the swing case, I think around 40,000. They are not showing up as deducted from my app yet so I don't know exactly. I do know the dollar amount was 206.33 including sales tax and a Ford employee discount.

I would guess the engine made about 3 full revolutions before I heard "What did you do?"

So yep, Magic 8 Ball says Magnaflow in my future.

Bummer on the short stuff. Guess you'll have to plan ahead so you can see things coming at a distance:)

She was already in "Alert" mode from my V8 Grand Cherokee 3" Flowmaster exhaust I did a couple of months ago.

"Did you have to ruin this one too? Do you just not want me to ride with you?"

Depending on how much the Magnaflow quiets the Ranger back down, I'll probably go with one of them for the GC as well.

looking at my receipts ... all the things I've done to date to my ranger have totaled $2910.20 with no end in sight.
Never do that! I made that mistake too and when my wheels come in I’ll be past the $7500 mark.

That is one stout example of woodwork, what is it's purpose?
Hauling lumber and such.

5th gen Ranger owners can't lay 4x8 sheets flat on the bed of the truck between the wheel wells. So we end up leaving the tail gate up and let the 4 x 8 sheets lay on the tailgate or let it lay crooked, one side on the wheel well and one side on the floor. That might be fine for a couple pieces, but what if you want to haul a lot of 4 x 8 sheets? The ideal way is to haul them flat. "The Rack" provides that flat surface that is slightly above the wheel wells. The 4 x 8 sheets lay flat and are supported for their entire length. "The Rack" has (12) tie down points to securely hold the sheets.

Even when you're hauling 2x4's, 4x4's, etc. the factory tie downs pretty much suck... they are to high and there aren't enough of them.

Seems like every time we go to Home Depot for lumber we are always also buying a shopping cart full of screws, brackets, etc. All that stuff gets thrown inside the truck. "The Rack" allows you to stow all that stuff in the back.. securely.

Part of the reason is we live about 90 minutes from the closest big box store. And the journey takes us over mountain passes and winding mountain roads. Often times on slick roads.
