I'm not sure he still has them now? The pics were all from the link and nothing was in there about Rangerzilla or Bigzilla.

I read further into the thread. He said he didn't have any but described later on. Sounds like it was a basically a marketing truck rather than a real Hotrod. Shame.

Yep...probably a Marketing Truck but really decked out... Things like this happened to me all the time in my career... Most people...came to work...went home...retired. My career was much different... I always loved ZZ Top and to be part of it was just amazing...

That's the downside of being dependable, hardworking, and skilled.

How many folks can say they sat in the seat of Hogzilla? I did!. I got to touch Cadzilla in the transporter too... Rangerzzilla was hurt...I was bound and determined to make it well and on display. Ford was sponsoring the Tour...Eliminator Tour if I recall correctly. Wish I could have used the tickets that Billy offered...but alas...not to be... Where Rangerzzilla ended up, IDK... I just fixed it and it made Ford Marketing happy as it did Billy... A fine gentleman who picked up the tab for our dinner! Once in a life time adventure...

When I listen to classic ZZ I am still amazed at the genius, harmony, fullness of sound, and raw power this little band of 3 amigos could unleash.

And still amused that the drummer, Frank Beard, is the only one of the trio lacking same..

1936 Ford Truck Rat Rod

This rat rod hot rod is powered by a 1953 Ford flathead engine, which is paired with a S-10 transmission.


1950 Ford 'Kopperhed' Business Coupe

Billy named this car after the black and copper color. It's a 1950 five-window that was transformed into a three-window.

I started a .38 Special station on Pandora and it's turned out to be an incredible mix.
