Does anyone know if it is possible to get these to appear in the center dash of a 21 xlt via forscan I have struck with my own research.

Don't know about the other types of monitors available, but I have the newer Scan Gauge 3, and it does show trans fluid temps, coolant temps, and everything associated with boost.Does anyone know if it is possible to get these to appear in the center dash of a 21 xlt via forscan I have struck with my own research.
Can you elaborate a little more as I am always using andriod auto while driving or do you use the old phone as the display? No there is no way to get it to display on the center screen (SYNC3). There use to be, but updates to SYNC disabled it. As was said using your phone and an app, or getting a stand alone OBD2 gauge is the only way. I use an old phone and the Torque Pro app to display mine when towing. I keep hoping someone will write or update their app to do this with the new SYNC screen.
The old phone is the display. I have a windshield mount and a power cable up the dash tray. You could use an android tablet as the display also for bigger/more gauges. I use an OBDLINK MX for my Bluetooth connection. Can you elaborate a little more as I am always using andriod auto while driving or do you use the old phone as the display?
After seeing this Think I'm going to use my surface pro and forscan for this trip at leastBest I've managed is to use OBD aps but have no luck getting PID to read any temp except coolant...
Maybe that’s because your using Apple. Torque Pro has the transmission temp PID, and also inlet air temps. Unfortunately haven't been able to get anything for oil, temp or pressure. Forscan will give you an oil pressure readout, but haven't figured out the loop information to enter it into Torque Pro.Best I've managed is to use OBD aps but have no luck getting PID to read any temp except coolant...
Ya I had to use what I have...it's got AIT but no oil/trans info...Maybe that’s because your using Apple. Torque Pro has the transmission temp PID, and also inlet air temps. Unfortunately haven't been able to get anything for oil, temp or pressure. Forscan will give you an oil pressure readout, but haven't figured out the loop information to enter it into Torque Pro.
You can also program PID's that the software don't normally see.No but there are other ways to do it using your phone or a tablet display. Get a wireless obdlink mx+ Module and load software into you device and you can program any of the PID’s into your display for the “skin” you pick on the ODB link software. As an example of display https://www.obdlink.com/mxp/apps/
The key there is, you need to know the information for the PID to program it. Name, number, formula, etc. Not easy information to get.You can also program PID's that the software don't normally see.
