Thanks, ctechbob. That screen looks different than what I'm seeing. What app is that screen shot from?

What app are you using? Nice dashboard!
That's a screen shot of my iPad...the app is OBD Fusion...they provide basic dashboard templates from which I customized...

So the app and PIDs are great. Been playing with the other stock ones and found what may be a possible pyrometer? :D Sensor pulling off the catalytic converter / o2 sensor.

There's no temp sensor in the 4 wire O2 sensors so that is either a calculated value or it is a different sensor. You'd have to look into the wiring diagram to see if there's an actual sensor in the exhaust stream.

So apologies to everyone I guess I made upset by assuming it was the O2 :D

it would appear this is the Catalyst monitor sensor (#2).

Our Ranger's do not have a dedicated Catalyst Temperature Sensor

Its calculated entirely by the PCM using O2 Sensor, MAP, IAT data plus the current engine - Load, Fuel Delivery & RPMs.

We only have (1) Exhaust Temperature sensor and that is the EGRT - for when EGR is flowing, the sensor monitors the EGR Cooler (cooling efficiency) and is part of the verification of EGR flow for the EGR monitor circuit - when EGR is flowing - produces a temperature rise on the sensor, so when the EGR Valve is closed the sensor is only reading the current temperature of the EGR Tube assembly, the sensor is mounted on the same EGR Tube as the DPFE hoses connect to.

The ROW - Disel variants will have the actual sensor
