How did I know? HOW DID I KNOW (this 'thing' would end up a potential POS?) THE VERY REASON I have the Ford is because my brand new at the time (2019 - 2022) Honda Ridgline REAR window leaked. The dealer / stealer tried and tried, having my truck for 50+ days to fix it, and never did. I ended up with a lawyer and ALL of that mess to force Honda into a FULL buy back.

Well Ford, I still have the number of my lawyer on redial. Let's see what mess this becomes.

May have to save my bubblegum and put it in the space between the frame and windshield. That'll fix it!

went with the lowest bidder on sealant??
Seriously. How did Ford mess this up? It’s not like they haven’t been installing windshields this way for years now.

Called my dealer since they still have my brand new truck. Yep, I'm in the recall. Said 5 days to fix. WTF? Flex Seal temptation is rising.

Mine is in that recall too. I'm not sure why there are members overacting... Most new vehicles have some sort of recall or defect at some point. I know this as a mechanic, and owner. It happens thankfully the manufacturer is taking care of it.... yes we need to make time in our schedule to take it to the dealership and they most probably won't have loaners available.

Meh I will wait. Open recall like this won't matter till I go for registration next year. By then I will have time to plan

That'd be a good one too.......oh decisions.........might have to try Steve's Flex Seal on one side and your Gorilla Glue on the other.......you and Steve are windshield-savers!

Same way they messed up all those 2.7 values on the Bronco. They subbed out the job to a different vendor and they used inferior parts. Everyone's trying to save a buck these days and more times than not it comes back to bite them hard and ends up costing them MORE in the ling run.

I tried doing this years ago and that's what happened to me. I tried a cheaper product and it took me longer to do the job, it didn't come out good and I had to redo it and it cost me money. So if I can figure this out you'd "think" Ford (or any of these large Corps.) would be able to.
