I'm not expecting increased HP, but I should see significant increase in MPG since my GVWR will be less.

That is exactly what the recall states (emphasis mine):

Remedy
Ford will mail a new TREAD label to install over the existing label, free of charge. Owners will also have the option to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to have the new label installed, free of charge.

Some people shouldn’t be allowed to apply their own stickers…

I really hope they include a template for placing the sticker. Would hate for someone to misalign and throw off the weight distribution of the truck and cause further harm.

My original sticker, FX4, XLT says my combined weight should not exceed 666kg or 1470 lbs, that’s 362 lbs less than yours, but evidently I can carry 5 passengers to your 4. Makes no sense. I think I’ll just remove the sticker and then I can carry whatever I want. /s
