Well, the end of Dec. the dealer finally said the battery failed. Installed a new battery. I realize I donāt drive it a lot. Not every day anyway, but I started getting the darn To Preserve Battery messages again tonight. I just drove it Thursday. Ranger in the garage is about to find a new home.
Update: Friday I started doing some meter checking of my battery. Cold surface voltage was 12.06. Charging 14.85. Put a 130 amp load on the battery - 11.30. Took it into dealer today. Charged it again for two hours. Battery failed! Replaced battery under warranty. Reset the body control module...
Ok. Supposedly the dealership put it on their BIG charger for several hours. On the way home it drove fine. ASS still inop. Drove it aday or two later - still no stop/start. Drove it today, air conditioner off. Came to a light - gray circle came on engine still running.

I get a nice Terry towel and get HOT water on it. Wring it out good. Kids bought me one of those handles with a pad on it for hard to get to windows. I drape the hot towel over the pad and clean the glass. Works great.
In 1969 my dad bought a ā69 Chevrolet Townsman wagon with a black interior...
Shira! Sheās now 4 1/2. The puppie picture was a Craigslist ad in Corpus Christi. We were headed to Corpus for a beach trip and brought her home. Who could resist those ears?
I had the same issue. But it led to several incidents where I couldnāt push the brake pedal down. I got caught on the air duct. I bent it at the split so it is now up and out of the way and put some black duct tape at the split to hold it up out of the way.
