Will the 6g Ranger eventually be offered as a supercab?

As a single senior, a SuperCab is the only sensible option for me. I'll be disappointed if they discontinue them. Although I'll probably drive my 2019 until the wheels fall off. ?
Wow! That is a beauty! Very classy. Keep it!

I took delivery of a 2023 XL Supercab at the end of January. I liked the Maverick (if you ordered) but they kept delaying the opening of the order books and I'm really not into the quad cab with short bed. Being able to get a supercab Ranger sealed the deal for me and seeing the 24s were only coming out (whether initially or forever) as a supercrew with short bed only reinforced my 23 Ranger order.

My biggest problem with the 6G ranger is the increased width. Just for reference:

Width (excluding mirrors):
2011 Ranger - 71.3"
19-23 Ranger - 73.3"
24+ Ranger - 75.5"

2011 F150 - 79.2" (+7.9")
19-23 F150 - 79.9" (+6.6")
2023 F150 - 79.9" (+4.4")
The main difference I notice between my 2020 Ranger Crew Cab and 1997 F150 Extended Cab (with 3rd door) is the overall length. But my 97 F150 had the long bed (7ft) and a home made cattle guard on the front.

Looks can be deceiving too. I had a 1997 Ranger sitting in my driveway when I bought my 2020 Ranger and the differences seems a lot when looking at them parked side by side. And the new F150's look huge when parked next to a new Ranger, which makes the Maverick look like a toy when parked next to the others.

I had a Sport Trac before which is about the same size as a Ranger Supercrew. Now my kids are grown and gone and I no longer need a full back seat and would rather have a longer bed.
That said, coming from a Sport Trac I can say the shorter bed is tolerable with the optional bed extender.

I personally find the 5G Ranger to be "just small enough." Other than length (~7" longer), it isn't that much different than the 2011 model. Even though the 5G looks way bigger, most dimensions are within 1-2 inches.

Kinda crazy that the difference in width between a 2023 and 2024 Ranger is greater than the difference between a 2011 and 2019. IMO, this is getting too close to F150 territory.

I'm happy the overall length of the 6G is virtually identical to the 5G. The mildly lengthened wheelbase for the 6G makes sense, given the 2011 model had a wheelbase within 1" of the 5G. I think this is a net positive for approach / departure / general driving characteristics / towing stability with very few trade offs.

Still, though...I can't get over the significant width increase.
The crazy thing is the added width did nothing for room in the cab. They simply pushed the wheels out a bit in the front and rear. The cab shell itself is virtually carry-over.

Yes, this is especially frustrating when (IMO) they widened the truck to make it look worse than 5G

Are you talking about the Ford Everest available overseas?

If I remember correctly, the SCAB wasn't available when the 5G initially came to NA. Neither was a Tremor version, as well as no Tremor (yet) with 6G. But there is a 6G Ranger Raptor, so maybe that will kill 6G Tremor. Also, ROW can get a regular cab 6G Ranger, I seriously doubt that come to NA.

I can always dream of a regular cab Ranger in America...?

It's been seen in the wild (camouflaged) so probably. And yeah, I wouldn't buy one if it's not a supercab. I'd also like PHEV.
Forgot to mention - if a SCab is offered and Ford sticks to the same GVWR as the SCrew, this would give some very impressive payload numbers (assuming ~90 lb curb weight difference, as seen on the current generation).
~1900 lbs payload for 4x2 SCab
~1800 lbs payload for 4x4 SCab

That would be exceptional and is well into half ton territory. The 4x4 payload would especially be a substantial improvement over the 5G.

I'll keep my fingers crossed...
The payload of my 5g WorldRanger is about 2205lbs… i mean this 6g should become a lorry/truck, too. Isn‘t it? “half ton territory“
