Why is my coilover compressed and bent?

Yes, but the cause of it is what you want to fix, right?

If it was a bad install, great, but what about the install was 'bad'. How are they going to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I'd also try and get a better look at the lower spring perch/mount. Take the wheel off of both sides and look at it, is something broken or cross threaded? Is there a pin that's sheared?

Personally I wouldn't drive it until I knew more about what the damage really is. One hard pothole could shear something the whole way through and you're going to slam down and possibly damage more. Or it could just be bent and you can get it to a shop without any major issues, as long as you don't drive it like a racecar.

Page 23-27 shows assembly of front suspension and it looks like it refuses the parts from the old strut.

I gotta say, Jesus that looks precarious perched that high up there.

So one BDS kit comes with fox 2.5, this looks like the one that dosnt comes with any coilover or spring for the front. Instead it appears they used the tremor fox's
I'd guess. This may have caused issues because the tremors are specifically tuned and not like other stock shocks or the fox 2.0 or 2.5.

The bds website does not show a spring on the front.

Did you look at the kit before it was installed or do you have a packing list from the order?

Talked with BDS R&D and they said that it'd work with the Tremor models.

I agree. It does look a little weird, however I didn't like the $4,000 pricetag of the Fox 2.5's in the more expensive kit.

Got it, The facebook tremor group had talked about it as a possible issue when I was looking at leveling options there. They mentioned that the tremor shock is 1 inch longer and the spring is 2 inches longer then vs standard fox.

Looks like the hat is rotated in the wrong position...the passenger looks correct while the driver is 180 degrees off...

Remove the 6in lift because it will do nothing but cause issues. Anything over 4” should have solid axles. Just my 2 cents for a happier life with your truck. And spacers can cause these issues too.

I ran 46s in the past so im not anti lift
