I found a degree of value going to that site as I found this (link below) article that bodes well for the future of carbon neutral vehicles , cheech and chong are likely early adopters. And maybe for those who indulge in cannabis, purchase credits could be issued at the dispensary level as I don't think the US gov is going to provide buyer incentives.

I know some will say that because there isn't the infrastructure to support EV all over the nation is a reason to not support EV. That's a different debate and people can have that if they wish.

But, there is a way to roll out EV responsibly. Fleet vehicles, selling in locations that can currently support EV, etc. I think maybe they (the dealers or Ford corp) shouldn't have been selling EV trucks in his location may have been smart because OBVIOUSLY he wasn't able or willing to research it himself.

But, 90% or more of this buyers issue was his lack of research into what he was buying. Full stop. And, maybe the dealer should have asked some questions before selling it. Are they willing to have bad press, or do they just want to make a huge sale? We know the answer.

Not sure about the lightning, but my wife just bought a Volvo PHEV and it came with 2, 120v cords. If we want a 240v charger/cord we have to buy it. Our current garage only has a 30 amp subpanel, so it won't support a 240v charger (50A) and we'll be moving in a year or 2 so I'm not installing one. Our new house will have a 50A charger.

My dad has been looking at getting a Ford Lightning. He said he is waiting for a model that should be coming in a year or so when Ford has an agreement in place for the truck to use the Telsa chargers.

Sadly, this is the future. Each click garners ad revenue because you get new ads on each page... They make significantly more money through this structure than a single page article. I don't play that game, so I don't read anything from those types of sites. Even with my adblocker enabled so they can't show me the ads.

I know of four charging stations in Roswell, NM. If you do a Google search, only one comes up. And.... Just yesterday, I checked the one near down town. It was, as its name implies, Down and out! Kaput! Ersatz! Joke indeed.
