My wife considered the Ford running boards too high since they are almost even with the door opening and needed a lower step. Ended up with N-Fab nerf step running boards.

These are the same ones I out on. Love them!

Has anyone seen wheel to wheel running boards for a supercab? (Providing a step for access to the front of the bed)

From the pics it looks like the Iboard for the supercab does.
I'm planning on these 6" from Iboard when Ford ever gets around to building my truck
I might be wrong though. Just not completely sure.

I want to install side steps so my wife can get in the truck a little easier. Just bought a new 2019 XLT Super Crew. We are in our mid 60's and she has had a couple of spine surgeries.
They need to be functional, have a non-slip surface, and good looking. Don't want them sticking out like wings and looking like an ugly add-on.
What did you buy? Pics would be cool.
I just got the OEM running boards after I bought my new Ranger. My wifey decided the step up was a little too much for her. The dealership gave me a "really great price" and I installed them myself in about a half hour. They are real easy to install, even by yourself.

Howdy Ace!
I went with the Westin HDX Stainless Drop Step Bars and had them powder coated to match my Sport/Magnetic Trim.

Truth-be-told.... I'm not a yuge fan of any side step/boards, but my Wife called this shot!

I am seriously considering the AMP Power Steps because I like the idea of the boards retracting out of sight. However, it appears from the few people who have put on the AMP's, the side boards do not retract, but just tuck along side the rocker panel?

If that's the case, I'll just keep what I have!
I was a little disappointed after seeing how the new Ranger AMP steps retracted. They donā€™t fold underneath like the F-150 and Superduty AMP steps... Iā€™ll be saving my money for other upgrades this go around.

I went with the nfab epyx steps. I personally think they look better on this truck then running boards (just my opinion). Install was fast and easy.

It only took a 67 year old dude an hour And fifteen minutes to install these. ?
I went with the n-Fab Epyx side steps. The wife likes them. She can easily get in and out of the truck now.

Sorry Ace Holliday , I didn't get my boards delivered on time, and just downloaded the pics. I like the Go Rhino RB10 because they are like splash guards and have slots, AND they sort of remind me of Raptors. They are pretty high, but my wife likes them, entering is easier. I don't use them, just step over them. Went on easy. Don't watch the Stage 3 install on You Tube, they put them on backwards!

No worries. Those look really good. I went with the n-Fab Epyx steps. The wife likes them and like you I really donā€™t need them. Thank you for the pics. That is a great looking truck.

Those look sharp! Any reason you went with the RB10 over the RB20? As far as I can tell its just aesthetics.
