Where’s your dog?

[Mokume]

If you say car ride around her, look out. She will run you over to get to the car. And she sits up in the seat like she is the queen.

That's because she IS a Queen!

Lucy was killed today. She went to the mailbox with my husband, like she always does, but ran into the road before he could stop her & a truck hit her & kept going.

Rest in peace, Lucy.

OMG!
Sincerest condolences to you for the loss of Lucy...no pet should ever undergo such indignation!

Thats so sad. It is horrible to lose a dog, especially when they are family.

My husband is really distraught. He was standing right there and was unable to stop it.
Lucy adopted us. She was very special. Such an independent personality.

So sorry for your loss. Be kind to your husband as you both heal. I was in a similar situation some years ago. Absolutely devastating. Took months to get over it. Now I can look back on the good times we had. That dog could dig for moles with the best of them. Never caught one, my yard looked like a battle field. I miss that.

So sorry for your loss and hate to imagine your hubby's horror to have to experience that as it happened. I had only learned of this thread a couple days ago and was logging on to post pics of our little guy. We send our love, amidst our tears.

Here is our little "Dragon" American Eskimo mix. Also known as Sir Springs a lot, thus the Super Dog harness cause he so so cute when he does his dynamic leaps!

Absolutely. I wish I could take his pain away. He blames himself, I definitely do not.
